Happy with the result yesterday. Was a strange game, not great to watch. They were on top our lads in the first half and we really struggled. 2nd half was much better, they say off a little bit and our midfield saw more of the ball. When you equalise with 10 minutes to play you have to be happy but I also felt there was a real opportunity topush on and win it after it went 2-2.

I thought Konate was superb, possibly his best game in the shirt. Nunez worked hard and is now finding a bit of consistency in terms of doing the simple things correctly. Hard to pick out too many others tbh. Was all about the result.

Yes I had Konate MOTM. Seems to be trimmer and much more sleek type thingy these days Looked a bit muscle bound and injury prone over the time he's been here. Hardly able to play Sat/Wed/Sat if you get my drift.

Club obviously designed a fitness regime for him and it's paying off. So quick to see danger. Big plus so far this season.

Probably slightly under appreciated the ball from Nunez to Mo. Others might of went for glory and he might well of scored but he saw the run of the Mo man and played a perfectly weighted ball across to Mr.Mo to side foot it in.

So many times this season and last, we get the drop on defenses and have screwed it up, by delaying the pass or taking on one too many. And with Nunez not assured of a place he could've thought...'right I'll nail this'..but he played the 100% professional perfect pass to the Mo man. 2-2...great assist by Nunez.

He probably realised the safer option was to pass rather than take the shot himself and miss. 😂

Would've taken a point before kick off but my word, that wasn't half boring.

We're really lacking a killers instinct, that intensity to step up a few years. Even when Gabriel then Timber went off which put us in the "ascendancy", the tempo of the game never really changed.

Going to take some time to get used to this style of play because it is night and day to what we've seen over the last 10-11 years.

Deserved a point but we should have gone for all three, thought we did ok but could have done better, especially in the second half, few things from the game, sadly Robo is finished, he’s hardly got forward and is getting done on pace, worrying we have no ready replacement a sub yes but no replacement. And the midfield went missing, Grav was quiet, Mac and Jones were both poor and very little came from the midfield. The goals for us come from a set play and a goal from a long ball,  a little worrying but a point at Arsenal is not to be sniffed at

      My ratings for the game;

      Kelleher - 6

      Trent - 6
      Ibou - 9
      Virg - 8
      Robbo - 6

      Grav - 7.5
      Mac - 6.5
      Jones - 6

      Salah - 7
      Nunez - 7
      Diaz - 6.5

A point away at Arsenal is a result you'll take all day long.

If we do the same at City and beat both at home would go a long way to help secure the title.

Interesting to see it's Endo in that position and not Szobo.

Good positive reply but while I'm generally happy with our progress under Slot, there are nagging issues. Midfield has done well  but hasn't produced that many goals, Also Nunez has to really step up. Roughing up defenders, tracking back enthusiastically isn't enough. I want goals.

Both full backs defensively were not strong enough. Positive yes but I want to see more drive, more purposeful attacking.I'm not writing us off but if we want to beat Mancheater115 we have to improve and that's my point. We have 3 home games next. I want much more evidence of our serious intent.

Dunno what was written/posted after this one so have no clue what was said above,

You make some valid points but this isn’t a Klopp side that used all of the things you want to see, your take on Nunez for example, he has been very good last three outings where he has become more involved hence three on the bounce, not sure that would have happened under Jürgen,
Darwin will become a better player for it too, he tracks back well and has more involvement, his stats will improve as to will the assists and the important goals for column,
I’m Liking the new version of us, yes we may lose a bit going forward but we’re gaining at the back by conceding less goals  all helped by having a slower more controlled approach, it’s more methodical, it’s been difficult getting used to it admittedly but none of us can argue it isn’t working,
In January I’d like to see some steel added to the midfield, we’ll need to search out a new younger version of Robbo, Kostas is ok but he’s not the solution, if Trent decides he wants to pally up with Jude in Spain we’ll need to find cover for Bradley,

There isn’t much else we need to do at this juncture, we Are in the title race for the moment but we certainly cannot afford any major injury concerns, and the way Arne rotates helps lessen that risk,

On Sunday if I’m honest after Mo equalised I too was screaming LETS GET THE f***in WINNER NOW !!!! but it’s not Jürgen in the dugout anymore it’s Arne, and we didn’t have anyone who perhaps could have helped, maybe when Harvey returns we’ll have that option,

Aw Harris, me old mucker, I’m afraid you’re gonna have to get used to our new methodology, our Gung ho kamikaze days are over sorry to say, but we are more solid and conceding less , which means more often than not more points won , and the more points we win the better chance we have of winning titles!!

      Quote from Harrisimo
That is what I'm saying. 'There or thereabouts'...we've been thereabouts too often..we need to be THERE..to stop Pep and his sky blue sh*te army.

So that's my yardstick...show we have what it takes to knock Pep off his feckin' perch.

When the verdict is announced in January, and they're about 50 points away from safety, that obstacle will disappear overnight.

      Quote from KeepTheFaith

I really hope we batter them at anfield

I can’t help but think when endo got the ball late on, Nunez was running free and all he needed to do was have the courage and quality  to play a through ball and he was in on goal to become a hero imo

Instead he went backwards for the safe ball and we still ended up losing the ball

Remember, Ali would have been more aggressive yesterday and we missed his presence in goal (not blaming kel) but that’s where we needed the best keeper in the world

Don't think so. He was there at the game last season. The least said about his performance the better. But this year he was nowhere to be seen, and we got a result instead.

You see in our performances that we're clearly not going to go gung ho this season and thrash teams 4 and 5-0 anymore as we used to. That's all been sacrificed in the name of "control". Most people seem to be happy enough with that so far.

We're the first team this season to take points off them when they have a full team out. So you can't say no to it. The return game is with just 3 games remaining. Hopefully we'll be celebrating a win then.

That Arsenal lineup today vs Newcastle just confirms that they were time wasting and milking 'injuries' in our game.

The media claimed afterwards it was an injury ravished Arsenal. Nonsense! They are quickly becoming my most disliked team with their antics
