In truth we have an abundance of players throughout our history who would be on peoples lists.

Doesn’t take away the way he made me feel when watching him, still the most entertaining player I’ve ever watched, I couldn’t wait for weekends just to see what crazy sh*t he’d do in a game.

Having a player legendary status that shits on a true legend ((KK)) never in a million years. Pretty sure KK himself would now call him a kunt for the way he used your club and fans.

As far as iconic players in the Premier League era then

Gerrard
Salah
Suarez

Gerrard could do what Salah does
but I’m not sure Salah could play
the roles Gerrard did.

And Salah was in a stronger squad.

The King is always on top of the list.

But it is subjective call can easily put many in there Rushie isn't out of place in the top 3. Barnes, Hansen and the very underated and most decorated Phil Neal. The list is endless but Suarez is a piece of sh*t never have him on a list of Legends.  Suarez was talented definitely but Legendary no chance at all.

Well I would never assume or try to guess what Kenny would or wouldn't say. He might've expressed an opinion on Suarez antics here. He'd more likely to be commenting on his ability.

I haven't really said what I think of Suarez 'the man'. Complex obviously.As a player he does hold a significant position in our history. On your patch you had Best. Can't define either of them other than to use the phrase..' flawed genius'.

Maybe put a time at club caveat in this.

There is a difference to being one of the best to have played for the club and being one of the greats/all timers. To be the latter usually, well more often than not, comes with longevity.

In that case I would substitute Suarez with either VVD or Alisson.

It seems that Mo has raised the issue because he wants it sorted. Wants to stay and is more or less pushing the club to get talks going. Down to the club now.

I take it your talking from this decade mate as Rushie gets in my list of one of your all time greatest and impossible for me to keep off. I can understand those that never watched him play can only go from here say. However, for those that did have the pleasure ( if your a Liverpool fan 😂 ) of seeing him play world class an understatement, he’s that good, or was. 😂

Nice list. Its so tough to put a top 5 up with so many greats. Alan Hansen and Clem could be in a 5 ... one day Virg and Ali could be in a 5. Impossible task really.

Suarez, Dalglish and Mo are probably the three most gifted footballers I've seen play for Liverpool.

I'm biased as F**k considering I grew up watching Barnes but I have to agree. Absolutely unbelievable player. Salah has the numbers but Barnes had that special something you can't explain with stats.
