:lmao: not too sure myself to be fair. Thought we had the gane won by half time and played with the hand break on at times in the 2nd half but still wanted to keep the clean sheet.

Found the game quite enjoyable to be fair. Don't need to over analyse each and every performance. The team as a whole did more than enough for the comfortable win.

      Yep spot on

It was a solid professional performance- 3 points in the bag

Diaz, Konate, Gravenberch and Kelleher all deserved Motm but I gave it to Kelleher.

He is a good shot stopper and got a cleansheet.

Another 3 points, another clean sheet, another win, everything and anything that gives us these three things is irrelevant, Mo wasn’t at his best today but you keep him on cos he’s capable of producing anything at any given time, it didn’t happen for him today, but it did for Lucho and Nuuuuuuunezzzz, that goal in itself could ignite the flame we all want to see, I’m of the belief that Arne will bring the best out in Darwin, he loves coaching and works with players in one to one sessions to make them better so we’ll see soon enough if indeed he improves Nuuuunezzz,

Again we seen Lucho coming to the fore, and reinforcing his position in Arne’s Squad, if he keeps banging them in we could see 15 to 20 a season from him and that’s not too shabby at all, Gravenberch was again superb and showed his qualities once again, we’re in that territory now where we’d be a different team without him in it, and as good a stand in as Endo can be, he’s no match for this fella, we’re talking hand & glove here and he’s grabbed his opportunity by the throat, each time he plays he just gets better and better, he’s not yet world class but he won’t take long to achieve that status imo,

Thought Kelleher was excellent although he didn’t have much to do, but what he did, he done it extremely well, it could very well be Ali’s last season but we have a very capable replacement in Kells.

Get in Redmen, back on track after the Forest blip !!

Was important to put the Forest 'mare in the bin. Although there was plenty of room for improvement today. Gave them too much space on the counter. Need to get at them quicker and sharper.Even when we went 2 up they were still getting at us.

Yes there were plenty of positives, Diaz fizzed,Nunez scored a cracker and another good show from Gravenberch. All in all excellent result. Off the gas a bit in the second half but job done.

It was a bit of a weird game, I won't say the 3-0 flattered us but I'm not sure the overall team performance.....merited that result? I dunno, as I said bit of a weird game. Definitely weren't anywhere near our best but it's good signs that you don't have to be to win games.

Thought we started a little shaky - especially with Ibou and Kelleher ballsing up a few times,....then the next 10-15mins took the game away from them and killed it. 2nd half nothing much really happened at all.

Finish off quickly with my ratings, some might be a little harsh.

Kelleher 7.5 - Was a busy boy, one terrific save....few other good stops, tidy with his handling. Distribution was a little iffy and redeemed himself from almost ballsing up first half.

Trent 7 - Started off some nice moves, not as many hollywood attempts which was nice and more involved in actual build up play.....that said, he still gets bypassed too easily (see Kelleher's brilliant one handed save).

Ibou 7 - First half was a 6, 2nd half an 8. Looked a bit iffy first half, got away with the disallowed goal they scored?

Virgil 7.5 - Didn't really put a foot wrong but can't score him much higher as Evanilson really didn't put up much of a fight.

Robbo 6 - Tough to score, looked like he did ok without really having to do much. In games like his I'd rather he was used more offensively. Might be a little harsh but I'd by lying if I said I really noticed him tbh.

Grav 8 - There were 3 or 4 sloppy passes from the Grav but he was involved in so much that was good about our play. Like Szobo, he should be taking more efforts from range.

Mac 7.5 - Thought that was his best game for us this season.

Szobo 5 - sh*t. Get the ball, turn, run, lose the ball and repeat.

Salah 5.5 - See Szobo but at least he had a few moments where he did beat his fullback.

Nunez 7 - Smashing goal, would've had another if not cleared off the line as was never handball. Quiet game otherwise.

Diaz 9 - 2 well taken goals and some of his dribbling before the first was lovely, beat 3 players but really needed to pass instead of taking the shot.

Jones 7 - Thought he had a decent cameo tbh.
Chiesa 6.5 - We don't really seem to give our subs much chance in any game because the last 15-20 mins have all been so flat and boring, but I recall his snap shot effort which introduced him to the league, an effort off the post on his weaker foot which was nice (which may have been disallowed had it went in - can't remember what for) and then set up Salah on the right who ballsed up the whole move.
Gakpo 6 - Not much to shout out about, but again the game being dead and buried didn't help matters.

You should call back Michael Owen out of retirement so maybe you score a goal 😉

We played the second half as if we know how long the season is going to be. They had the job well done is the first.

Chiesa wanted to saw us and the coach that he is here to work hard, same as Gakpo.

No team in Europe has this quantity and quality of a frontline available.

Well that was an odd game wasn’t it? We were in complete control for most of it and played some breathtaking football at times but we also looked quite easy to get at, which isn’t a good thing.

And something I’ve noticed a lot this season is once it looks like the game is won, we really take our foot off the gas. Thankfully it hasn’t cost us yet and hopefully it won’t but it’s becoming a concern. Something for Arne to work on.

But as always it’s the result that matters and this one took us top of the table so can’t be grumbling too much. Unfortunately no matter what result is had at Maine Rd today we’ll be knocked off top but it’s still fun to enjoy it while we can.

Kelleher - some great moments, such as that reflex save from the corner but also some worrying moments like where he nearly got caught in possession. A clean sheet is a clean sheet though.

[Alexander-Arnold[/b] - your typical Trent game really. Looked a real threat going forward but couldn’t be arsed with the defensive side of the game. Was a boss run for Diaz’s second.

Konate - as easy as it was for Bournemouth to get at us down the flanks yesterday, Konate and Van Dijk dealt with almost everything that came into the box. Pair of them were immense, again.

Van Dijk - see above. He and his partner in crime were very solid and the longer they play together the more confident I get in this team.

Robertson - had the sort of game that’s becoming the norm. No longer the marauding full back he once was but still offers a bit and defensively he’s ok.

Szoboszlai - another game of nothingness from Dom. A break out of the team may do him so good, I know it’d do me the world of good as well.

Gravenberch - really drives forward well with the ball at his feet and his long legs do well to intercept and retrieve misplaced passes. Made a couple of poor passes himself though. One in particular where he just needed to guide it into Diaz and instead he thumped it right out for a throw. But certainly cementing himself as an automatic starter now.

Mac Allister - still gets kicked to kingdom come and that has to be a compliment for him, a bit like that year where we had loads of red cards against us and most were for fouls on Xabi. He hasn’t really got going this season but looked a bit more like the Mac of last season yesterday. That pass to Salah was special.

Salah - fantastic at times, frustrating at others. Thought he turned into his greedy self once Nunez scored (off his assist of course). And then when I wanted him to be greedy when he got behind them with that lovely header he tries to find Darwin again. That was the time to drive on towards the goal.

Nunez - what a F***ing finish. Didn’t do much else during the game but he scored and that’s what forwards will be judged on. Thought his energy in the first half in particular set the tone as well.

Diaz[ - two lovely finishes and a threat throughout his time on the pitch. Absolutely love the lad and I’m so happy he’s starting to perform at the level we need him to on a consistent basis. I think he’s also knocked a lot of the showboating on the head, which he used to do when he first arrived.

Jones - didn’t do much when he came on. One effort that he probably should have done better with. Needs minutes obviously and maybe him instead of Dom for a couple of games is the way to go.

Gakpo - was unfortunate not to start for me after his Milan performance. Though Lucho doesn’t deserve to miss out, so I thought Cody would start through the middle. Seems though that Slot wants him on the left. Didn’t really do much when he came on.

Chiesa - looked more like a Klopp type player than a Slot one. Lots of running around but not much control. Reminded me of Dirk Kuyt. Hopefully it was just a case of trying to hard to impress.

Overall though, it wasn’t a great performance yet we walked away with three goals, three points and another clean sheet. So imagine how good we’ll be when we do play well.

Top of the League as well. Some get the F**k in there.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Reds!

There’s no chance unless your team is called England. All his life, he’s only interested in playing for England. He has no respect for his clubs.

Are there issues with our 'off the ball' workrate in terms of winning back possession. Not praising City but they're the best at winning back possession. Almost an insult if the other team gets possession. We have to match that attitude.

Better teams will punish us if we don't improve that side of our game. B'Mouth held on to possession far too long and were able to create chances as a result. It's the hard yards. Not doing them invites trouble.

Watched highlights again this morning and have to say VVD was a touch lucky at times losing his man

For the disallowed goal he allowed the striker to just float of the back of him into acres of space

And then did the same for chance that Kelleher made a great save

Jones played well when he came on , his link up with Gary Mac was very good

We'll see the more or less 'bootleg' Liverpool V West Ham. Jones, Endo, Gomez, Quansah,Nunez,Gakpo, Chiesa and a few younger players. Their work rate 'off the ball' will be very sharpe. Chance for Chiesa, see what we've got.

Good win, good performance. Kelleher is really good could be extremely disappoint if he leave the club (but totally understand if he do so if it happen).
Diaz my motm. At this point I want to see Diaz start in the league and Cody for UCL.
