Can say I've never nor ever will listen to a game live on radio or any podcast/watchalong.....because, why would you? Football aint sh*t to me if I can't watch it.

Always staggered that he actually has people watch him watching the game but some watch to see his reactions as well

Just turn off your phone and any other electronic device you own which has internet access.

Then maybe plug some headphones on full blast.

Tbh even if I came across a result before watching the game, I'll still go back and watch it because for my own peace of mind, I like to know how we played....how the opposition played....if the ref was good or bad, individually how each player did etc then carry on with the discussions as if I'd watched the game live the same time as everyone else.

I remember being at the game and on the Kemlin Road stands were letters and they would put scores against the letters but you had to buy a program to know what letter meant wich game

Have to say it was nice to have a game without VAR. You just know that those West Ham non-penalties would have been scrutinised to the nth degree and the ref would have been called over for one of them and then he'd have caved. Was good to have the flow of the game maintained as well.

It was awful. If the ref gave them as penalties, nothing could be done about it, unlike in the league. Luck would have it, the right decisions were made this time, but that doesn't mean we won't go out of the competition thanks to a penalty or offside error against us later on. That's the risk, and it's not acceptable to me, let alone enjoyable. Results count. How it affects the flow of the game is irrelevant to me.

Aside from that, the usual routine home win against West Ham. Next, v Brighton (a), just 3 days before v Brighton (h)

I get the fact he's a bit of a Marmite charachter - you either love him or loath him.

There's a kind of wierd fascination watching him sometimes which makes it worth putting up with the click bait and self-introspection - he's usually not far from another train wreck and it can be quite funny when it all blows up!

TBH though, I've never quite understood why so many fans dislike him and his channel so much.
