Ah sorry thought you meant two more on top of the jones one

Second one - once the ref gives it then it can’t be over turned

Same if he didn’t give it Var can’t then give it

Who said Jota was alongside Colwill he has 2m behind should have been a red and should have been a penalty but we still won

This Chelsea team scared more than Arsenal. Arsenal lacks the fire power in the attack and been bailed out by corners. Chelsea has so many amazing attackers who we managed to keep quiet. Also Caicedo is really good, he struggled first season but I can't help but think we would've won the league if we had him in our team.

ha ha had 3-1 myself too.  And should have been.  Dodgy corrupt imbecile of a ref.   On another note some really good performances from our players had Salah MOtm, but could have easily voted for a few different players.

Tosin should have got a red card, it's clear. He probably injured Jota and annihilated a clear goal opportunity unfairly.

I'm a bit frustrated by Dom. So many silly decisions in attack and even when defending, losing the ball often recklessly.

Darwin's energy was won a lot of us over but how can a striker be offside like every time!? Luckily, it did not cost us Jones' goal.
Gakpo and Diaz were both silenced by Chelsea, so I cannot blame them, they were simply neutralized by a good team.

TAA showed that when coached properly, he can defend properly. He did not create much in front but defended very well. And that's more than enough.

I think if we can survive until jan and be there or close to the top. The board really have a decision to make, I hope we get a couple of players and really go for it

Dom works so hard, his work rate is excellent but at times it feels like his confidence is rock low when it comes to shooting or making that final pass

All in all, we won, so we move on. Arsenal will be tough but they have injuries and we can really take them imo

Just seen the Arsenal sending off and it's a carbon copy but not a physical assault which injured Jota

Absolutely. Saliba barely touched him and the foul on Jota was far worse. Same position. Last man. But it's Liverpool.. so..

The officiating was summed up perfectly when Nunez won the ball in those final moments and the ref gave Chelsea a free kick. Slot was all of us (well except the usuals).

It’s not a red card ?!! It wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity- the ball was going down the right wing ffs

Just because it’s the “last man” doesn’t mean it’s an automatic red card

The two incidents were similar, though not the same....it's easy and understandable that people conflate the two.
Saliba could easily have just been yellow carded ( which is what the ref initially called ) and VAR shouldn't have gotten involved because it's a judgement call, and not a clear and obvious error. Same with Jota, these two incidents require a judgement ( goal scoring opportunity etc.) and that is outside of VAR's remit. In my view both ref's got both right with yellow cards to both defenders...the problem arose once VAR overstepped its directive....VAR should never have an opinion.

The font of all knowledge ref wise. If Mike Dean says it's a penalty - penalty it is. Cornered a cushy number for himself.

Head of Security job at Tranmere will have to wait..

You only have to look at the ball position and the direction it was travelling and the location of any other defenders

The ball was going through the middle - attacker was clear and the nearest defender was over 20 yards away - plus GK back peddling

It was VAR actually working well in the Arsenal game
