Big game on Sunday, gonna be tough to get a result here but it’s not impossible. They have players out and not a lot of squad depth. Saka is touch and go.

Quite note on Kelleher, if he continues this form he’s got to be number 1 if Alisson leaves in the summer.

      Kelleher

      Alexander-Arnold
      Konate
      van Dijk (c)
      Robertson

      Gravenberch
      Mac Allister

      Salah
      Szoboszlai
      Diaz

      Nunez

      Subs:

      Jaros (GK)
      Quansah
      Gomez
      Tsimikas
      Jones
      Endo
      Morton
      Nyoni
      Gakpo

      Injured:

      Alisson
      Bradley
      Elliott
      Jota
      Chiesa

Intense battle. They'll be let off with about 3 penalties, 2 blatant trips and a clear hand ball. Assistant Ref will nut Robbo but Robbo will be sent off for feigning injury .Slot will be red carded for blowing his nose. We'll be down to 9 men after Nunez jumps into crowd to start a barney. VVD will be booked for looking too arrogant. Kelly boots one high into the sky..hits Mo on the arse and rolls into the corner.

      Uneventful 0-1.

Amid all the smoke and mirrors, I think you’ll find the Arse injury list is all bollocks.
Expect most of the listed 25 injured players to make the squad on Sunday.
On our side, we have one or two doubts, but currently only Jota from our regular line up.
It all seems to have been going too good to be true up till now, considering we are a team in transition.
We may have the same basic squad, but with the new manager changing tactics and some individual roles, it’s been pretty incredible so far. I would have, and did, expect us to be more hot then cold, taking at least half the season to settle down.
Due to this, I think we’ve been punching above our expected weight. Therefore no disgrace if we do lose to arse under these circumstances, and a draw at theirs would be respectable.
However, with momentum and confidence as it currently is, I can’t help but go for anything other than a Reds win.
0:2 I think it will be. Our defensive mids and back four holding tight, and our attacking mids and strikers notching two from many opportunities.
COME ON YOU MIGHTY RED MEN !! 🤛🤛

Can see both defences being on top here.

A bore 0-0, which I'd be quite happy with.

Probably right. If their defensive injuries are what they say, they’ll probably park the bus and try catch us on the counter. Like they did with city when they went down to ten men, boring fuckers.
I know we did it v spurs but we were down to nine 😱

Hopefully Jota has recovered from what seemed innocuous.  Diaz and Salah with one other . Grav,Mac and hopefully Jones but assume will go Szoboszlai.  Normal.back 4

I think we can go there and hand out a lesson, all this whinging and f***in moaning mainly from the media regarding injuries to key players really boils my piss, how many injuries did we have last season, to key players, Mo, Trent Jota in particular, yet hardly gets a f***in mention, so F**k Arsenal and F**k City losing key players, use yer f***in squads like we did last season and use yer academy kids too,

“ Ah but Arsenal are missing Odegaard, Saliba, possibly Saka and one or two others” thats not our f***in problem, it certainly wasn’t last season when we had to cope, yet still finished 3rd, and still all we hear is Liverpool will fall away because we no longer have the Klopp factor, and it’s still a two horse race between the cheating KUNTS and Lego head, and we haven’t been tested yet and when that happens we’ll drop like a fat bi*ch on a seesaw !!!

We won’t, why, because it’s still the same squad as last season, it’s still the same team without those injuries, in fact arguably we are better than we were last season, but all we get is we haven’t been tested yet, we haven’t played Arse yet and we haven’t played City yet, is that the tests they mean, their the only two who finished above us last season, so I guess it must be ??

We can argue that had we been at full strength last season we would have won the league, of course that statement will be shot down in flames, so let’s flip it then and say Arsenal will lose against us because they won’t be at full strength, that won’t be shot tae F**k tho will it !! 🤬

We can only play what’s in front of us, their injury woes are not our concern, even had they been fully fit I’d still fancy us to do the cockney Cnuts over, and that’s exactly what will happen, ………

…………. Kelleher, Trent, Konate, Virgil, Robbo, Gravenberch, Szlobos, Macca, Diaz, Nunez, Mo……and a few rotational subs will get the job done !!!

Heart says 0-3, head says 1-2

One of the key fixtures of the season. This is a tough game to call, obviously they are a decent outfit and they will be difficult to beat on their patch. We've had a start that none of us could have imagined in our wildest dreams...You can't win that many games on the spin with just luck. For me we look and feel different under Slot...(I'd even say we can look a bit dull) ...but importantly we are getting the results, mostly through hard work and discipline.... (it's no co-incidence that the game we took for granted, we got beat) But along with the grit, we've also got creative talent and on our day we are a match for anyone....I think we might just edge it. 0-1

      From the BBC...

Liverpool manager Arne Slot says forward Diogo Jota will miss their Premier League game at Arsenal on Sunday.

Jota was substituted in the victory against Chelsea last Sunday after suffering a chest injury when Blues defender Tosin Adarabioyo fell on top of him during a challenge.

The Portugal international missed Liverpool's Champions League win at RB Leipzig on Wednesday and will be absent for the trip to the face the Gunners on Sunday (16:30 GMT), along with winger Federico Chiesa. Right-back Conor Bradley could also miss out.

"They feel good but not when it comes to playing for us during the weekend," said Slot.

"Federico might train with us today or tomorrow, Diogo definitely not and let's see if Conor Bradley can be with us tomorrow."

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker remains out with a hamstring injury suffered in a win at Crystal Palace on 5 October and is expected to be sidelined until at least the next international break during mid-November.

"He's progressing well like we expect but it's not a short-term recovery, so always difficult to judge him," added Slot.

"I think the best way to judge an injury is in the end of an injury, the end phase of his rehab, and he's not there yet."

Only selection debate is whether Jones comes back in or not. For the left I expect Diaz to start given he's been on the bench for the last two.

Jones deserves to start again for me and Szoboszlai just played 180 mins in 4 days may go again with him but with Jones bench midweek think he should go with him

Go with Jones, but I'm not even sure Jones knows how good he can be. Does at times look a bit like a Hendo clone, but when he adds a bit of creativity or panache to his game then he is the real deal. Will the real Curtis Jones stand up.

They're under huge pressure not to lose and with their injury problems hopefully that causes a few jitters. 1-1 though I reckon.

Feeling more confident for this than I did for Chelsea. We should win if they are honest about their injury problems.

Bit of yap about Arteta being some kind of tactical guru..pure BS obviously. Calafiori cutting inside in the so called inverted position. Mo might be left in peace to do his worst. Havertz is doing ok as an out and out striker. Trossard is a sly deceptive player.

So could be a tight game. VAR could do us...again. But I think their confidence is a bit flaky this season and we'll emerge from that there London with 3 pts.

A few seasons ago, going to Arsenal was a goal fest, and was usually in our favor. They have very well improved over the last 2-3 seasons? Would take a draw. Would love a win.

Normally id take a point here every season. But with their injury issues its setup for us to go there and impose ourselves and move 7 points ahead of them. And keep our place at the top of the table.
