The carrier bag Cup, not exactly priority No1 but while we’re in it we may as well give it our all, however, we don’t have the biggest of squads and we are already 4 players down with injuries we can ill afford to lose anymore, ideally we could play a sh*t load of kids and be done with it, but that just isn’t cricket so we play a competitive side and hope it’s enough to get us thru,

It’s a good time to try a couple of kiddies alongside some fringe players and see where it takes us, never easy going to the Amex even with a full side, anyhoo I’d go with something like this……..

Question is will Arne be big in trusting the kids this early in his Liverpool career? No signs of that yet and after Nallo’s error that cost us the first in the mini derby at the weekend, not sure how high his chances are.

Not a fixture that ignites much passion. As always, I'd prefer a win but wouldn't be overly fussed to lose. Do we have the squad depth to be competitive across all four competitions?....last season suggested not.

Brighton a very decent side, difficult to judge a game like this, depends strengh of the team fielded, simply hope for the best outcome. Obviously a win for the Reds

I'd like to see a big group of players rested. Konate, Virg, Robbo, Grav, Mo. Play Dom on the left and have a midfield of Endo, Morton, and Jones. Quansah and Joey at the back. Pray we get Bradley back and Trent can only play the 20 or so minutes.

Be 7 or so changes Gomez,Tzimikas, Quansah,Endo,Szlob, Morton and Gakpo I reckon . Kelleher,,Virg/Konate,Jones, Diaz keep their place

I'd be disappointed if Nyoni didn't get the nod to start, given he's the best we have amongst our u21 side, that means another game with no youngsters.
