Brighton is usually a very tricky fixture for us, especially at their place so to come away with the win after a much changed line up is very pleasing. To get it done without any injuries is even more pleasing.

      Jaros - 8

      Bradley - 6.5
      Quansah - 6
      Gomez - 7.5
      Robbo - 7

      Endo - 6
      Morton - 6.5

      Diaz - 6.5
      Jones - 6
      Szobo - 5
      Gakpo - 9

      Nyoni - 7
      Mac/Salah/Nunez - 6

just doesn't have any goal threat, shots at goal, F**k all, it's not Gonna happen here for him

Was only being a bit sarky.Nunez gets my support. Yes he needs to show a lot more. Done OK since Jota was injured and he does have to step up, stay onside and finish off the chances when they come his way. May be he needed a season to really feel at home and not put himself under pressure. Clinical finishing is what we need see.

Like Mitoma, has pace and a trick or two. Have to give Trent support in the home game. Home game will be harder and I'm sure Slot will whip the team up be ready for these next 3 home games.

Obviously, those are left to pick from. At least, the least 'ranked' on paper. We have a good chance with City, Chelsea and either Spurs or Utd out of the competition.

Haven't been that obsessed with the League cup. Won it 23/24 and 21/22 but that was a 10 year wait after we won it in 2011/12 with Sir Ken.

It is obviously 4th priority and is very useful for giving younger players a chance and keeping fringe players fit and ready. Have to strike a balance and Slot is well aware of that. Q/F V Southampton and will adopt the same platform with a mixture of youth etc.

Given how Slot picks his team (lack of rotation) I thought the performance was good given playing away to a decent team (though heavily rotated as well). I completely forgot about Morton when I first read the team sheet before the game.

Got to feel for Quansah who had good preseason under Slot but has faultiered in each appearance thus far. Sure we will see him vs Soton bar unless injury bug gets our CB's.

Performance of Gakpo and Diaz will give Slot a tough decision on the weekend who to start but it is good to see both getting amongst the goals

So scoring against Arsenal and an assist for Mo doesn't count. I would think about changing your job a motivational speaker just isn't your thing.
