Never got out of 2nd gear as we didn't need to. Being so comfortable in the table and virtually through before the game meant the players were unlikely to run themselves into the ground. Save that for the PL games and the CL knockout rounds. Girona in contrast were at full tilt.
More vital minutes for Trent who now looks up to speed. Harvey getting 15 minutes is another plus as he is an elite option from the bench to change things/create, which is often does.
Ali looked like he'd never been away.
Probably missed some of the control Mac gives us, but the win, qualification and returning players getting a run out was all that mattered.
