Diaz will start but where? Not sure Jota will start maybe Gakpo left and Diaz through middle

Diaz through the middle should be last resort. Didn't really work first half v Leverkusen. It didn't work for him against City and it definitely didn't against Fulham.

Don't see why Jota couldn't start and play an hour or so, been back long enough and looked sharp in both cameos.

He scored a hat trick playing there against Bayer and he played well there again last City 🤦‍♂️

If you ignore the fact 2 of those goals came when he was moved to the left after Nunez had come on, then ok.

He did as well we he could as the #9 but couldn't really get in the game or stretch City's back line, looked better on the left in the last 20mins when he won a pen, after Nunez had come on.

Now Jota is fully back, he and Nunez can share the game time as the #9 and Diaz goes back to being a winger.

Jota isn’t ready to start yet and Diaz movement and pace can stretch the two slow CBs Spurs have

Even when Jota plays it’s still very fluid with both him and Diaz swapping multiple times through the game

Isn't ready to start based on what Doc?

As explained Diaz hasn't really done it as the #9, the only reason he's been used there recently is the absence of Jota.

The guy has had about 20 mins of football after been out for over 6 weeks , already had a small reaction

A lot of games coming up

And already explained he has played well a number of times when playing through the middle

He was used there because he played well there

He's been there because of not just Jotas absence but Darwins form as well . Nunez won't start so be Jota or Diaz just can't see Jota startting with so many games coming up possible Leicester Boxing day

      Spurs bang in form again.

Will be a very tough ask on Sunday but Chelsea and Arsenal found a way to win there so we will need to as well.

Their front six are good, and if you let them come at you we will be in trouble. Their back 4 though, that's what we have to exploit.

No more slow starts, something that killed us in the last 2 games. We have to be on it from the first minute. Dom is key here I feel as he runs after anything that moves. As mad as it sounds Nunez could be ideal for this. We have to harrass that defence of theirs.

Nunez has done fine when we've actually looked to get the ball forward and not just knocking it sideways at a snails pace the whole game, plus we've yet to lose a game when he's started.

If Jota can't be trusted to start this game after being back in training for the last 10 days or so then a decision needs to be made in Jan because it's causing problems for the team. From what I've seen in his last 2 cameos, he looks ready.

You do know he missed training this week after the game against Fulham - there is a lot of games to be played , don’t need to rush him back

      He's missed 1 session.

A player who misses a weeks training isn't in contention for a game, he's featured twice since he's been back and looked sharp. This is an important league game, a must win given our last 2 results.

Not saying he isn't ready but woth 3 games in 7 days might be worth easing him in not as if we are short of options up top

Spurs fall over the line in a game they were winning easily. Dodgy at the back is an understatement
