Qunasah needs a long seaso loan next summer. He's not ready and super prone to errors.

Not sure what Endo did wrong by getting the ball smashed into his face

No idea what he did wrong.

Also, thought play got stopped now for suspected concussion or is that only for Arsenal?

Decent win, first half was total domination, more like a preseason game, then second they gave us a game.

Hard to pick a MOTM I think. Maybe Endo over the course of it, very consistent. Chiesa had some nice moments, Jota has some more minutes under his belt, as does Harvey. Thought the young players did OK overall.

Yep, happy we won but main thing was no injuries.

Good run out too for players who needed minutes. Have a feeling Chiesa is going to be big for us this season.

When Chiesa was on the ball, he looked like he could make something happen. He’s come back at the right time.

Which young players are you talking about ?

Danns was composed when he came on , Nyoni was tidy all game , McConnell got stuck in same with Morton

It’s a tough game in tough conditions

I wouldn't bother engaging with the usual hysteria from that guy.

Cruised the first half, second was close, but good result and decent performance from a largely second string team. Thought Harvey was our best player, along with Gakpo. Rest were ok. Chiesa was lively when he came on. Still looks quick. And obviously skillful.

We go through. Virgil n Mo got a rest. Harvey, Jota n Chiesa got minutes. No injuries. Good night.

Chiesa comes alive in and around the opposition box but the games a bit too fast for him when the opposition press or he needs to find a quick pass when we are transitioning forward.

I think the hard thing for him is going to be how he gets the game time to get up to speed.

First time seen Chiesa. If he manages to stay injury free and adapts to Prem league pace and physicality we may have a great option.

It's not a tough game in tough conditions. Dann wasn't on long enough to judge, but the others were poor. Nyoni especially.

Can’t believe we changed so many at once. We got through, but clearly struggled at times.

Didn't see the first half, so can't judge...but the second was just pants. None of those youngsters look anywhere near ready for first team football....there again Nunez doesn't look ready for first team football....I swear he get's worse by the game.

Good win, through to the semi final with a team of mostly reserve players.

I think McConnell was the best of the young lads, calm and tidy with the ball. The others did ok in difficult conditions.

Chiesa showed that he still has a lot of quality, just needs to play more games and get full match fitness.

Quansah played well, hopefully it will build his confidence. It was never a foul at the end; the other player backed into him, then went down.

Endo probably my MOTM, a good battling performance.

Very solid first half, 2nd half got a little sloppy but given it was largely youth/inexperienced players or players that have very few starts this season and taking into account the conditions were just as bad as the league game here, I'm fairly happy with that result.

We were untroubled until they scored which I'd say was undeserved at the time......a panicked clearance hitting our own player in the face which falls perfectly to Archer, sometimes football can be cruel.

Chiesa had a mixed game. I can't recall him touching the ball for the first 20mins but then looked pretty sharp closing down, then popped up with a few classy touches including 1 nutmeg on the touchline and could've scored 2. The double block on his left were 2 brilliant efforts.

      Wouldn't say anyone had a stinker but I don't think there were many top drawer performances either so my ratings will be pretty narrow;

Kelleher 7 - Not overly worked but 1 or 2 solid saves.

Trent 6 - Only 45mins so rating does reflect that, brilliant in the lead up to the first goal. Another brilliant chance created for Mac was it?

Quansah 7 - A few nervy moments, one at the end there which he was lucky to get away with......but overall much better than Fulham.

Endo 8 - My pick for MOTM, solid first half in midfield. Very good 2nd half when moved to CB. How many times was he fouled tonight?

Gomez 7.5 - Quick and Strong is Gomez and he had to show both sides of those attributes tongiht and he did both very well.

Morton 7 - Only his 2nd start this season, playing next to a 17 year debutant and moving to an unfamailiar RB/RCB position 2nd half. A pleasing performance. Only gave the ball away once that I recall and maybe could've been stronger to stop the shot for their goal.

Nyoni 6.5 - Good first half, kept it nice and simple. A little lost when he was moved out to the wings but that was to be expected and that only happened so Harvey could get in the game as he too looked lost on that right wing.

Mac 6 - Disappointed with him today being the senior figure in that midfield, having not played the last 2 you would've thought he'd been well rested for this but he never really got going.

Harvey 7 - +1 for the goal, plenty of touches but didn't really look to do much with the ball.....looks far better playing behind a #9 than he does out wide.

Nunez 6 - Happy he finally got his goal but good grief that was bad.

Gakpo 7 - Like Harvey, plenty of touches but was more threatening beating his man and putting balls into the box....lovely play give and go with Endo before setting up Harvey.

Kostas 6.5 - Good to see him back. Only 45 mins to judge, did fine.
Chiesa 6 - Strange half for Fede. Didn't notice he was on until the 70th min or so, then looked like our most liveliest. Should've had at least 1 goal.
Jota 6 - Gave away few fouls at the beginning but then won a few headers and set up Fede with he should've done better with.
Mcconnell 6 - Poor tackle for the yellow aside thought he held his own when he came on, definitely has a bit about him.
      Danns - N/A
