Went from v. sloppy play and naive tactics 1st half to sharp and incisive passing on the deck after the break, which they had no answer to. Identified the problem and rectified it. Good management. Gakpo defo MOTM.

Pretty good performance, especially second half. Gakpo MOTM. Mac n Gomez both also very good. And of course the customary bit of genius from Mo.

Very good day for us. Pressure on Chavs n Arse, any more fuckups and they are in trouble.

I'll be interested to hear more about what happened with that disallowed goal. Looked very strange decision from VAR.

A very slow start from us. Maybe it was a Christmas hangover or the foggy weather but when we woke up we ground out a good win. 3 points in the bag, Chelsea lost so a very good day.

I expect Arsenal to win tomorrow but we will still have a healthy lead.

Agree. All you can ask for is a player giving his all, and he does that.

Arne is such a nice pleasant guy but I get the impression you don't cross him. He is also using the squad really well

The all too common pedestrian first half followed by the equally predictable increase in tempo and quality in the second. Always felt we controlled the game but at 2-1 there's always that uncertainty.....Mo (yet again) steps up to the plate and puts the game to bed.

First half to forget...and a second half to savour. Onwards

Cody motm. Starting to contribute regularly now and alongside Salah Jota and Diaz thats 4 big threats uptop and hopefully they all stay fit and healthy.

Be interesting to see what Arne does on sunday with regard to Jota and Diaz. I think id start the game with Diaz through the middle, Cody and Salah and have Jota to impact from the bench.

But eventually I want Jota back in the 9 and Diaz, Cody sharing that left wing ... depending  on Jota's form. But Diogo is the only quality orthodox  9 we have and ideally id like to see him hit his best as when he is on form hes a huge asset.

Thought Robbo was great tonight. Getting back to his best. Attacked and defended well. Just needs more reps. Missing preseason was not good for him.

Not holding out hope tomorrow but you never know. Worst case now though its as you were with regard to Arsenal.
