      Yes, he’s BBC 5 Live’s chief football reporter/commentator.

Carra also said it’s going ahead.

      As I said before

It was decided at 9 it was going ahead from the club statement

It would have only gotten cancelled if the weather got worse from then

      Let’s batter those cu*ts

Nah if this was the alternative I’d rather it be postponed and then play them midweek under the lights with the crowd behind us.

I’m thinks more so of games backing up where we are playing 3 -4 times a week..

      But game goes ahead..

      Let’s do these..

      3-0.. if not more..

      I’m
Off to change my prediction score…😂

Relieved it’s back on. Now interesting to see what the conditions are like. Think the pitch will be fine, guess the worry was more about fans travelling.

Mate all it needs is someone to say the roads are a deathtrap and its off. Risk to life will see it called off in my opinion.

Have we become that fragile as human beings, that we now can't travel in 2 -3 cm of snow !

Yeah I do take into consideration crowds, traffic etc etc but even so !

As i said above mate, ive just driven the east lancs and its clear and I see no reason to postpone. You would assume theyre working to clear snow around the stadium as we speak.

      Go ahead confirmed.

Oliver on the whistle. Great atmosphere building up. On form should batter them but form sometimes goes out the window. Have to be on it. Big test for Quansah and Slot will be tempted to go with Konate. Not 100% fit and would usually ease him back. Think he should trust Quansah.

Kavanagh on var so get ready for every possible way to disallow a goal for us to be looked at and vice versa. Can feel it in my bones something big going against us today.

Only people in the game wanting a liverpool win is us. Nobody else does

I was wondering about Konate not sure he is 100% on  Quansah but only a couple of training sessions might just be bench and start him Wednesday

The snow being fresh is the reason the game is going ahead, if any of that had turned to ice, the game would have been called off.

Today good stomping ground for the PGMOL conspiracy theorists. Oliver (Doku)...Kavanagh (Odegaard)...

Will they screw us over today?....Could argue they never screwed us in the first place, just isolated decisions that unfortunately went against us. We can obviously be accused of being  a bit paranoid over it, but could argue we have good reason to expect the worst.

We all be on REF WATCH today.

Honestly thought the Health & Safety Gestapo were gonna sh*t in our collective kettle and ruin everyone’s day, So looking forward now to us handing out yet another Battering, let’s not kid ourselves that this current Manc side will do us any damage, of course they won’t, they will play 3 at the back and that’s just suicidal against our attack,

Alisson, Trent, Quansah, Virgil, Robbo, G’Berch, Macca, Szlobo, Gakpo, Jota, Salah would be my starting X1, some will go with Diaz or even Nunez, each to their own, but Jota for me is perfect for this particular fixture,

With the seasoned bottlers Arsenal dropping further points a win will open a 8 point gap with still a game in hand, Billy mentioned that 94 points is the max Arsenal can reach, that is of course if they win every match, but we’ve seen how inconsistent they are so 94 seems excessive, we are in a incredibly strong position considering we’ve played all the big guns and remain unbeaten against them, our nearest and dearest are ironically Arsenal & Chavs who we won’t face until late in the campaign and for me by then it will be all over,

That’s enough stargazing for now, all we need do is concentrate on each game and see where we’re at by the end of March, think we will know our destiny by then !!

Normal circumstances we’d be happy with a one goal advantage in our favour of course against these Scummy F**k pigs, however, this isn’t a normal circumstance is it, we’re playing arguably one of the worst Manc teams on record and I can see us handing them their arses on a plate, we stuck SEVEN past them without even trying and if you remember we actually took our foot off the gas, this time I want us to add more gas, and see what we finish with…

      5-0 minimum for me !!

I’m not as confident as you, could end up being tricky - surely United can’t keep losing the way they have.

Problem seems to be the 3-4-3 formation. You obviously need 100% player cooperation and belief in the manager. That's a 100% certainty. They can all start the game with full commitment but events within the game can test that belief and that's the issue for Amorim.

He needs full commitment from start to finish no matter what happens during the game.He hasn't got that.

Only have to look back to the games last season.

Still can’t believe we didn’t win a single one.

Yeah, just expect us to lose. Then even a draw is a bonus for you. That way you won’t be too disappointed if we come away with something.

Not sure if the rest of us would regard a draw as a bonus.
