Problem seems to be the 3-4-3 formation. You obviously need 100% player cooperation and belief in the manager. That's a 100% certainty. They can all start the game with full commitment but events within the game can test that belief and that's the issue for Amorim.
He needs full commitment from start to finish no matter what happens during the game.He hasn't got that.
It was madness on Utd's behalf to appoint Amorim mid season knowing the football philosophy he would try to implement.
By season's end, the players could have lost all faith in him, and it's looking like that already...
They should have stuck with ETH or even RvN till the end of the season, and appointed their new man in the summer when he had time to implement his ideas on the training pitch and pre season, not in the middle of the season when they're playing 2 or more games a week....
