Interested as to what the agenda is?

His current UK agenda seems to be to try and remove the current PM (who he cannot control) from office 6 month in to his tenure and to replace him with someone who he can.

The vehicle he's using to do so is currently by stirring up racial tensions using his own platform.

He's very clearly altered the algorithm on that site so that right wing views and opinions are at the forefront of the debate.

The bloke has used X to interfere in US politics to get his man into the white house and he will now reap the rewards from that. He's now trying to do the same over here and in Germany.

His end goal being to have power and influence over countries and its leaders.

With people like Musk it always always always boils down to power and ultimately money. He isn't interested in furthering the debate or free speech or any of that bollocks.

Don’t tell me you carry guns in case those pesky Red Indians come and steal your cattle 😂.

Like I said you lot over the water are a strange bunch, carry on with the slaughter.

See it's stuff like this that doesn't help. It's drive by posting on topics that are quite complex. If you would be willing to sit down with me for instance and have a few beers and pick my brain on some topics (like guns for instance) I'm not saying you'd change your mind (or even that you need to) but you may understand the viewpoint of people here a little better and you may even come to realize that the simplicity that you think resides in this topic isn't really the reality of the situation. But at the end of the day, it's easier to rely on our own assumptions and opinions as fact and search for confirmation bias from others that you may or may not even be able to relate to (because they are people on the internet that you don't really even know).

Im a cop, so I carry them for a living. It seems to me you're opinion is a fairly narrow minded one and you could use some new material if you want people to take you serious on matters like this.

Simply cannot have a free for all on these public platforms X or facebook. Regardless of how people feel, it is not acceptable to express opinion's that come under hate speech laws.

There has to be some restraint, on or off line. Vast majority respect those laws. Those that don't sometimes have an agenda. The owners Musk or Zuckerberg or whoever have to abide by the laws of the land.

Can't have any organisation that effectively apply's the laws of their own country for operations in other countries.

You could sit down over a few beers and discuss your manic attitude to guns and I would say the only way of converting anyone to your 'guns for all' reasoning is spike their ale so all reason and sense is lost and the mass shootings continue unabated.

He was expressing his dislike for the 2nd amendment, 'the right to bear arms,' albeit in a rather clumsy way.

No problem with you carrying a gun as a law enforcement officer.

But you supporting Bubba up in the hills carrying a Kalashnikov doesn’t make me think I would want a debate with you either way.

How can people who facilitate and encourage mass killing be taken seriously?
People in positions of power who are bribed surreptitiously by the arms manufacturers to support their companies.

      Nothing complex though is it?

You guys have the worst rates in the world of school children being massacred by lunatics who are allowed to carry guns, clearly a small sacrifice for your rights. Is that about right?

Think from the conversation as a community and country we appear to a bit more considerate about others ,and actually prefer to rid ourselves of the Hopkins , Tate and Robinson’s of the world

Where as some appear to beleive there are ok under the “freedom of speech” banner that’s banded around

Guess same sort of buzz words as woke and snowflakes etc

      But the good news is

Musk won’t be buying the club

The local fans wouldn’t have allowed it to happen anyway

Think you mixing racist, sexist and hate speech up with Opinions that you don't agree with. Very easily done especially on social media. I can say I hate womens football as I think zero skill and its had to watch, that's an opinion but on Social media I am sexist.... No I'm not im telling you my opinion, you don't like it move on, but the shut down cancel culture of the offended needs to be stopped.

If that makes me right wing so be it.

Just like if you say the scousers (Trent and Jones) were the worst players in a match, LiP says you are prejudice against scousers

I saw an interview with his dad who was basically laughing at the idea but being pestered by the interviewer to commit so she could have some sort of exclusive. I don't think for a minute Musk has plans to buy the club.

What the F**k are you on about? Its happening right in front of your eyes. He ain't F***ing hiding it from anybody!!!

Go and look at his tweets. Been calling for Starmer to be arrested while banging on about Tommy Robinson for F***ing Reform leadership because even Nigel F***ing Farage thought Musk was going too far hence why Musk also tweeted Farage must go.

He's got a made up job in the White House under the heading 'DOGE' which is the sh*t coin he's been involved with for years. Coin subsequently went 'to the moon' as the tech bros call it... earning him a sh*t ton more money.

You don't need to be James Bond even snooker player Nigel Bond could work it out. He wants close ties to the leaders of the free world and will attempt to use his influence on X to shift the needle to get it.

Hardly F***ing Casino Royale more Scooby Doo.

Well he ain't going to get away with it with the meddling scousers so he can F**k off.

Well fair point and although you don't have hate speech laws in the US most states do have 'Hate crime' laws and they're based on very similar stuff to the UK. Religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.

Straight answer, in a democracy..it's the electorate that decides.

No. It was just a Sky reporter making mischief and Sky's trying to make a story out of it.

But yes back to the club. Never happening in a million years.

Despite the politics of our foreign fan base the locals who the club is meant to reflect cannot stand the c**t and that should count for something.

But just because the electorate decides something doesn't make it "right" though does it.

The electorate in this country just elected Trump who most people around the world (seemingly) despise. So if the electorate can't get it right electing a president, how can they get it right deciding what "hate" is?

Could argue that it's gone a bit too far in the UK. Sometimes feel we can't say a word without feeling we've upset somebody somewhere along the line. People are so touchy. Was a free for all over here up untill I dunno...bout turn of the millennium.

A lot of it was down to stand up comedians. They would crack all manner of offensive jokes about race, religion. Nothing was off the table. Also racial tensions were very high because of prejudice. And now the UK is so politically correct that you have to double check before you say anything.

I'm only one chapter into "The Forever War, America's unending conflict with itself".....and I can tell you America's democracy has always been paper thin at best, and with this New administration, aided by a partizan Supreme Court and funded to the hilt by Silicon Vally..the threat to it's barely functioning democracy is in real peril.
Nowhere in The declaration of independence, The Constitution, or The Bill of Rights will you find the word democracy.
