We should know what it's like to see the team play out of the skins in this game. Remember a few games like that mid 90s and early 2000s from us v them.

      Marathon, not a sprint ;)

That was due to our performance ... nothing they did. But yeah I agree ... 2 points dropped for sure

Made that point to a mate who follows them, the similarity to us in the 90s is unreal

      Quote from GERNS
Yeah of course. I forgot it’s John Henry’s responsibility to fly into town and turn the under soil heating on.
You muppet. There’s a whole rank and file management team, in house, responsible for that.
Do you really think FSG sent a memo to tell the management not to turn the heating on to save a few quid

Whoever was responsible didn't do their job. They must have been on Mars if they believed the game was not at risk, given the weather overnight and the time in general. We've already had one game postponed because of weather, and we're going to have another postponement if we get the chance to defend the League Cup, how many more do they want? Two safety meetings were required just to have the game on, before even considering the pitch issues. Not a single other EPL club had such issues that weekend. Maybe they all gathered in an asylum with contingencies ready to go in case the weather threatened their games. Either that, or we missed a trick somewhere.
