Best spell in our history? - we might be in it?

Chatting to my eldest lad last night. Hes 16 now so has enjoyed a relatively brilliant period as a fan, going back to 2018 and that champions league final. Yes we lost but it was the beginning of what has been an amazing 7 years

Won it the following year and rumners up in 2022. Finally landing the league in 2020. An FA cup in 2022 and 2 league cups and another final coming up.

Were well placed in the league, champions league and FA cup again this season. And hit incredible points tally in 2 seasons but were a point or 2 shott of a city team under investigation!!

In all the past 7 years has been incredible. Is it our best ever? I can only think 76 to 84 beats it. Kennys side of 85 to 91 didnt have opportunities in Europe to add to domestic success but was another phenomenal era

I think the point im trying to make, badly probably, is that we are in an incredible era,one which may be actually about to kick on, and Im not sure we really appreciate it.

Yes we will all moan about things, human nature. But I hope were all taking in the enjoyment this is bringing.....it wont last forever, look at the 90s, some older posters might recall pre shanks?

Arne has grabbed the reigns from an incredible ride Jürgen took us on and hopefully out does what Jürgen did......but just make sure we enjoy and appreciate the journey because its fking brilliant times

Klopp side at peak would beat all the other teams in my opinion if you didn't control for fitness levels etc.but once you factor in steak for lunch and beers after the game then would have to be late 70s/early 80s sides. More flair in the late 80s side tho.

Results wise the turn of this decade was unmatched in our history. Trophy wise the 80s.

This is a fantastic period but Klopp was unfortunate that 115 had an un level playing field.
