Joe Gomez returns for Liverpool in today’s Emirates FA Cup fourth-round tie at Plymouth Argyle.

The defender is named in the Reds’ starting line-up at Home Park as Arne Slot makes multiple changes for the encounter with the Championship club.

Diogo Jota is also included in the XI, with only Caoimhin Kelleher retaining a place in the team that began Thursday’s win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Well it’s a good mix of regular, semi regular and kids.
Regardless of their position I don’t think Plymouth will fail to give this 100% effort.
Hoping we haven’t underestimated them and go on to a handsome win.
I’ve gone for an astounding 0-4 win, so hope our youngsters don’t get overawed by the occasion.

Gone as weak as we can pretty sure the Villa game influenced some decisions . Don't agree Ali missing two games on trot and would imagine Joe will only do 6O or so . Little light in midfield so don't expect this to be easy

I think it will be tough as well. Bound to be a lot of energy but we can't afford to miss chances. Going to be find out a bit more about the younger players.

Could take the view, we're in one cup final and the League and Champions League are the priority so play a second 11 for this comp. Feb is a vital month with 5 Prem games so makes sense to put the onus on the squad, spread the workload.

A second or even third string Liverpool side should have enough to win over a rank poor Plymouth....If we play to our strengths it should literally be a walk in the park.
