      Potentially 350 And Out
      Apr 11, 2025 05:08:23 pm
First things first, I don't want this thread to be derailed by discussing Trent staying or going. Though I know it ultimately will be.

This thread is to discuss what an achievement it'll be the next time he plays for us. It will be his 350th appearance for this club becoming just the 48th player in our history to reach that milestone.

Hopefully, he gets at least one more game this season to claim that record.

During his first 349 games for us, he has won the F***ing lot. And, without doubt, been a huge part of that success as well.

Over a hundred direct goal involvements in that time as well. 86 assists and 22 goals is some going. Some would say he's redefined the right back role during his nine years in the first team with his passing range.

He obviously gets his share of flack, from me as much as anyone, for his defensive lapses and the way his defending hasn't really evolved since he broke through. But he has shown on enough occasions that he can defend and be as good in our defensive third as he is in the oppositions.

So congratulations Trent on making a 350th appearance for Liverpool Football Club, it's no easy feat.

Bang on  the money mate, he has been a phenomenal player for us, he and Robbo at their peak under Klopp were unstoppable. I really hope he gets to make that appearance notwithstanding his injury and possible departure.

Redefined a position and as important a player during our recent success as some of the others.

He will rightly be remembered as one of our best players

From that free kick against Hoffenhiem to the quick corner , the finish against City , the goal against Leicester - he has made so many massive contributions to the club

Tremendous personal record absolutely, to go along with all the other records he's created for himself & he should feel immensely proud of that....something he can cherish for the rest of his life.

I tip my hat off to anyone who even reaches 100 games for this great club, nevermind 200....300+

Just hope he is still here for his 500th game.
For someone who cant defend he seems to have an awful lot of silverware.

Simply phenomenal player, anyone who doesn’t recognise how good he has been for us you’d have to question their knowledge of football, like Si has said he redefined the position of LB, he was a midfielder transformed into a attacking wing back so when Jürgen came along it was perfect for the system Klopp implemented,

When I think of the assists, his vision, his passing abilities, the jaw dropping cross field perfectly weighted passing into players paths, his goals & free kicks and that unforgettable corner it will always put a smile on my face, he will play in his 350th match for us, why wouldn’t he, even if its his last with us, Trent is and has been a fantastic player and if indeed he seeks a new challenge elsewhere where, well, good luck to the lad !!

Provided excellent distribution and assists to team mates, not forgetting free kicks & corners, which have led to important goals for the side.

Whatever his future may hold, well done TAA.

This....all day long, well said Billy. sums him up perfectly.

We've seen him grow from a boy with dreams into the man he is today, strong, determined and totally focused on his game, I sincerely hope he stays but if he seeks pastures new I wish him all the very best.

YNWA Trent, we love you and thank you for everything you've given us.

Amazing player. Wish he was staying, but if he's not, I hope it doesn't turn out as bad for him as it has for some others that have thought it would be grass greener somewhere else. Personally think he's making a mistake if he goes to Madrid, but it's his life and he's served this club well. What a goal to score for us if that's his last one in red.

Last goal for us could be the only left footer!  Will be remembered as Legend.   Gave us 7 years of great service.   I have said this before we have come to a cross roads his contract is going to effect the future extension contracts of our best players.   His situation in my opinion is a two way things.
