I'm over my man flu now. Got a huge mouth ulcer inside my bottom lip though, right on the little cord bit that attaches. Fkin killing me!

      Feel better Cas!

Glad your on the mend Gow, mouth ulcers are horrible aren't they, you can't enjoy anything when you've got one of those beasties  :o

Feel a little bit better today, had an excellent sleep, Night nurse completely knocked me out, won't be up to playing Badminton tonight unfortunately.  :(

Got a proper dose of manflu. Got a runny nose and blocked sinuses, my throat hurts and I've had about 6 hours sleep in total over the last 2 nights due to  coughing :(

Cheers, mate. I'm overdosing on every cough medicine and painkiller in the cupboard and sucking a throat lozenge in the hope that I might get a good nights sleep before work in the morning. Not confident.
The worst thing is that I'm hoping to meet up with Diego on Tuesday night to watch Crewe v Accrington Stanley and I'm supposed to be going to see Steve Hughes (comedian) on Wednesday  :(

What's a man flu (as opposed to women's flu and just flu)?

Is it something special one should have because one is a man?

I don't know where you're from but in the UK at least, it is a common joke that men don't get colds, they get man flu. There's no difference, it's just that women say we make a meal of it when we're ill.

Just take some paracetamol instead and buy a couple of lemons and squeeze the juice into a cup of hot water. Just as good as lemsip and a damn site cheaper.

      Get well soon.

I was about to say the same, Dave. The only part you'd be missing is the decongestant which doesn't work anyway!

Proper burning up now. The missus just commented on how hot I was (not in a good way) and I can feel the heat of my breath as it leaves my nose :/
