Man flu

Cheers, mate. I'm overdosing on every cough medicine and painkiller in the cupboard and sucking a throat lozenge in the hope that I might get a good nights sleep before work in the morning. Not confident.
The worst thing is that I'm hoping to meet up with Diego on Tuesday night to watch Crewe v Accrington Stanley and I'm supposed to be going to see Steve Hughes (comedian) on Wednesday

I don't know where you're from but in the UK at least, it is a common joke that men don't get colds, they get man flu. There's no difference, it's just that women say we make a meal of it when we're ill.

Just take some paracetamol instead and buy a couple of lemons and squeeze the juice into a cup of hot water. Just as good as lemsip and a damn site cheaper.

Proper burning up now. The missus just commented on how hot I was (not in a good way) and I can feel the heat of my breath as it leaves my nose :/

Made the effort to get up and go to work this morning. Lasted 2 hours then got sent home 

I didn't bother. Feel quite a lot better today, but want to be laughing for Sunday - don't want to give the whole coach man flu!

Well woke up feeling like poo' so guess what?

Had been down for 2 days with flu but went out and bought some Manuka Honey, i swear by it.

UP and running.

Done everything and still feel horrible.

My nose is a snot machine, throat is clogged, head hurts and i have zero energy.

Got a proper dose of manflu. Got a runny nose and blocked sinuses, my throat hurts and I've had about 6 hours sleep in total over the last 2 nights due to  coughing

Was going to write something but you summed it up better ,got bungs up my nose at present sick of having candles running down my face.

Had it all F***ing holiday and it seems to be getting worse today.
Glad I got the flu jab...
