Any excuse for tipple of Bushmills, eye Racer!

Sshh. The Dogooders over here don't like to mention our drinking culture.
      It's a problem, apparently.

It's some night nurse you want lads, I'm not talking about Cas but the medicinal variety - if you get your head down properly (and before anyone comments Cas is not part of that deal either) thats half the battle. Plenty of oranges is good as well, that's vitamen C isn't it? That helps.

Anyone feeling poorly? Lie down whilst I check your temperature  ;)

You know you can't have anything can you.  I wanted a little bit of man flu time, a little bit of tea made, biscuits brought with a cuppa, slippers warmed up.

But oh no - the missus has only got to upstage me by doing a bit of projectile vomiting.

Women - they just won't let you enjoy anything properly! ;)

      JD, yours sounds lethal.

Just stay away from me though, I don't want your man flu. ;)

EDIT: I can't read, JD, hope your missus feels better soon.

Best "cure" I've found for man-flu are good old hot-toddies, not the classic mind, my dads version,
when #i was a nipper used to play up on "little-man-flu" just for this ;)

Boil a kettle pour water into a bowl, get a glass, fill it up with as much whiskey as you please....place glass into bowl of boiling water, leave for 3-5 mins..........Drink!

Doesnt "cure" anything really but makes it a hell of alot easier to cope with!!
and Iam quite sure you can still drink alcohol on this "medicine". ;D

Got myself a good case of it right now. Nose blocked up, head stuffed up. Really F***ing with my sinuses.

Missus is out so I have the TV and sports to keep me company this wintery afternoon. About to cook up some chicken noodle soup and brew some coffee.

In the past two and a half weeks I've had man flu and a dose of the squits twice!

Just thought I'd share that with you all.  :D
