I must give a shout to Lucozade in these situations, it may just be a placebo effect, but when I feeling anything remotely 'man-flu'-like, it certainly seems to help me out.

I didn't manage to avoid it. Went to bed at 10pm on Thurs with a headache and slight cough, woke up 8am Sat!! I was feverish, dizzy and very weak with a cough, headache and burning eyeballs. I'm now down to having a cough, being a bit weak and burning up now and then. Trying hard to be fit for NYE!

Touch wood , i haven't had manflu for years now . I eat a sh*t load of garlic and thats all i can put it down to , coz i eat hardly any fruit/vegetables and i don't take vitamins . Unless beer , bourbon or cider and cigarettes is the key to keepin the dreaded manflu at bay ...... ha ha

Made up with flu/Hayfever, killing everything I sneeze on, nose running faster than Nani after the ref !

I went back to bed this morning after the school run but don't feel any better for it, I've just had my lunch so I'm not hungry anymor, whats that old saying, Feed a Fever and Starve a Cold ? what if its Hayfever ?

I've tried all that Piriton sh*t but it didn't appear to work, I'm wondering if it IS hayfever and its pretty bad, I feel fine its just my head nose and throat !

Hope I survive for going the match on Saturday.
