Dog's being a right pain in the F***ing arse.

Trying to bite everything and putting his mouth round anything he can find.

Clothes, socks, hands, body parts, TISSUE ROLL - all the time. Infact, before I was watching TV and I came upstairs to find he had torn apart half a roll!

      Guessing he's teething?

I / we keep shouting NO! and pushing him away but he doesn't seem to be learning at all...

      Oh no! Bad images. :o

He will calm down soon. It really is just a phase. Try and get him something to chew that will keep him occupied, like a toy. Sometimes they just get bored of the one thing.

I know what you are going through, our harry (5months old ) takes delight in pulling the washing off the line,so when my wife is putting the washing out we tie him up on a long lead  down the bottom of the garden.Funnily enough he just accepts being tied up and does not kick up a racket.

Get him one of those edible plastic bacon-flavoured bones. That'll sort him out.  About £2 from Pets at Home.

Nice one. Will bear that in mind.

Seems to be getting better though now with the biting - think he's learning.

JD's right. Get him one of those nylon bones. It'll take him forever to get through. Do not, I repeat, do not get him chewy toys that look like the stuff you don't want him to chew on.

One more thing. Don't shout no. You have to be firm & quick with a deep voice at a normal tone. The message you're trying to get across is that you are the (male) master and you disapprove of his actions. Make him respect you. A loud, high no will only excite him.
