Very sorry for your loss, Andy.

Its a terrible thing to happen but at least you did right by him and didnt let his suffering endure. We have three dogs our Bullmastiff is now nearly 12 an incredible age and we have lost two of our companions in the last 3 years or so and you always miss them.

Thanks to all of you ,no  dont think i will be getting another Stuey  as another one would have an awfull lot to live up to and that would not be fair ,i had the best and i think i will leave it at that,.

I said that after each of our dogs passed away over the last couple of years .But after a couple of months I was back down to the RSPCA and we are back upto full compliment of 3 all rescue dogs.
There are so many Dogs in need of good homes and its a fitting tribute to a dog that has passed away when another Dog is saved.

Very true.  It gets on my tits when people go out and 'order' a pedigree when there are so many dogs caged up in rescue centres.

The feeling of giving an unfortunate dog a loving home beats the feeling of giving someone £400 to continue their puppy-farming.

Well done to everyone who has saved a rescue dog (or cat) from being put down unnecessarily.

Went for my court appearance yesterday regarding the stray German Sheppard from last October.  The district attorney has postponed the case. My laywer says it's probably because the cops haven't signed off on the case yet. This basically means the police that arrested me don't want anything to do with it, so the DA has no evidence.  They have 90 days to reschedule or the case is dismissed.

Sandy is doing great , she's completley recovered and living the life a dog should.

Aww nice one LFCbronx I love German Sheppard's Unfortunately we lost our one to old age 2 years ago we still miss him loads but still can't bring ourselves to get another one so we ended up getting a kitten that was abandoned and as you can see he seems to have settled in quite comfortably.

My cheeks have stained tears down them, but I cried with happiness when she wagged her tail, such a lovely happy ending, but why oh why would anyone leave any animal in that state
