After 13 very happy years we had to say goodbye to Maisie, missing you already and always!

I sobbed when I read your post.  very sad and heart breaking to say good bye to them, just remember all the wonderful moments you had with her and now she's in doggy heaven with all her friends.

Had the worst news I never wanted to come today, my beautiful beloved cat Tinkerbell age 19 years (92 in human years) died today  :( :( :( to say I'm heartbroken is a massive understatement, she's been by my side through everything over the last 19 years and she was my little soul mate.

I'm going to miss her so very much as will her furry sister Lana, she knows and it's horrible, haven't been able to stop crying all day :(

Thanks Si, I should be happy that I had her for so long, she was just a tiny kitten when I had her but it makes the loss worse because I had had her for such a long time  :(

I'm so sorry Cas. They are everything and to lose your companion is the most heartbreaking thing to go through. But what a  life she must have bad with you- wholesome, loving and complete.

Thank you FMS, my daughter said the same, Mum, she's had the best ever life any cat could have had. I feel blessed that she was part of my life.

Oh no. Sorry Cas. Pets are family there is no getting around it. Oftentimes we don’t deserve the love they give us but I’d wager in this instance you surely did. She had a long life. 🤍

It's unconditional the love they give us and I loved her as much as she loved me, she used to follow me around everywhere like the loyal beautiful cat she was and I'll miss that.

So sorry to hear this Cas. Our two cats are 10 years old now, my kids grew up with them and I couldn't imagine life without them so I know you must be hurting right now.

      My thoughts are with you.

They are just part of your family aren't they and being an animal lover they mean so much, not yet, but one day soon I will visit the cats protection home and give another cat or two a forever home  :)

My oldest brought home an adopted kitty (Winston) from college this summer. We already have a Basset Hound (Moses). The two get along pretty well, we are falling in love with Winston but he’s going back to school with my boy in the fall. So now considering the idea of getting a cat of our own.

I lost my beautiful Cat Tinkerbell age 19 years in February, I have another cat Lana but she is lonely without her big sister, so I've been thinking about getting another cat, so today I had a phone call from my daughter to say her friend 's cat had had TEN.....yes 10 Kittens WOW, so I've decided that I'm going to have two of them, they will be loved, cared for and have a forever home in a few weeks time, I was never allowed a cat when I was a child, my Dad said you can have as many cats as you like when you leave home, so I'm doing exactly that  :D

Spotted a tabby cat the other day, coming in and out of the garden. Nothing unusual with that but was in the garage looking for something when I hears a miaow..bloody moggy...then 3 kittens run out from under my shelving....now I've got 4 cats I don't want...tabby the mother...2 black and one tabby kitten'

Turns out the animal charity place say best leave them be untill the kittens are about 10 weeks or so old. Nobody locally owns up to owning the tabby mother moggy so I'm stuck with them.  Now I've got to feed and water tabby and even if somebody turns up and claims them, the kittens disappear in the garage every time we open the back door. Bleedin' moggies..

Been feeding and watering them. Made a soft bed for them etc. Animal welfare said they will have the stray mother cat 'spayed'. We have found homes for the three kittens and they will be rehomed at about 11/12 weeks. Done what I could for them.
