no just that a broken metatarsal can be unbelievably hard to recover from.

This bad news has really made me feel thirsty.

I'm going to have a nice refreshing drink.

I don't know why but I was thinking about Agger at work today. It might have something to do with the fact I was watching some of performances and goals recently. I thought it would be great to see him back in the 1st team so this news is a real blow! :'( I just wish him well for a speedy recovery and hope the boys grind out some good results in his absence, that would make him feel good! ;) YNWA

What a pity for him! He became the best player of Denmark of last season!

Soon recovery, Daniel, and good luck! It's regretting we won't see him this season. Good news, Skrtel gets used quickly. I think many fogot his first match in Liverpool T-shirt! He proved he can replace Daniel.

All I can say is poor Dan.......he must be gutted.

I agree Kenny, he was looking so good in the reserves as well, real shame for him.

Hope the lads can win the Champions League for him this season.

Get well soon Dan the man ;)

We missed Agger a centre back of his quality would be missed at any club so it's really good news that he's ready for the 1st team. The new boots may be nothing more than a psychological barrier and once he's put in 2 to 3 games he'll be OK and now the back four looks stronger than ever for the run in...

Got me blog all wrong again only read first one and I just read Aggers out for the season (really feel for him with all the work he'd done to get back) we'll miss him as we all thought he'd be back after the reserve or half a reserve game he'd played...

I had a feeling this would happen with Agger as every time he seemed to becoming closer to fitness he had another set back. At least now he can spend the rest of the season and the summer getting fully fit for next season.

Hopefully he'll keep his nose out of doing his foot in after this injury.

Sounds like an absolute piss take of an injury for the lad.  Let's hope he sorts it.

A fit Danny Agger is total class,I just hope this setback does not have the same effect that happened to Momo Sissoko. Most people thought he was the tops till he had that eye injury in Portugal, sadly he never ever got back to the level he was at B4 the injury. If he can recover his form we are set for a few years with Skrtel alongside him.

      It's a shame. He's also a defender who's very likely to score.
