A single goal from Jack Sinnott was enough for AFC Liverpool to take the points against Squires Gate last night.

Everton FC have withdrawn from the Liverpool Senior Cup and AFC Liverpool will now face Skemersdale Utd in the Semi Final. More to follow.

An own goal and a Shaun Harris goal gave AFC Liverpool a hard fought 2-2 draw against Bacup Borough on friday night. That's the end of this NWCFL 2012-2013 season. AFC Liverpool finished 11th with 60 points. A big improvement on last season.

A date for your diaries - the semi-final of the Liverpool Senior Cup Skelmersdale United v AFC Liverpool will be played at The West Lancashire College Stadium in Skelmersdale next Saturday 11 May with a 12 noon kick-off. Spread the word!!!

AFC Liverpool beat Skelmersdale United 3-0 on saturday. They now play Bootle in the final of the Liverpool Senior Cup. Not sure when but most likely in July.

I'm a fan and member of AFC Liverpool and I'm going to post updates here about the club over the course of this season.
For those Reds who aren't aware of us, we are a fan-owned community club, aimed at Liverpool fans, established in 2008 to provide a low-cost alternative to anyone priced out of premier league footy.
We play our games in the North West Counties League,  Premier Division, at Step 5 of the non-league pyramid. Only 10 promotions away from the Premier League 
Adults £5   Seniors £3   U18′s £2   Footy for a fiver or less!

It is important to note, we are not a protest against LFC, nor do we wish to poach fans away from our beloved LFC, but I personally would like to see more of my fellow Reds pay us a visit this year.
Our 3pm Saturday games rarely conflict with the LFC games scheduled for TV, so why not give us a try? You may be pleasantly surprised at the quality of football we are capable of!
This season AFC Liverpool will be playing their matches at The Arriva Stadium in Crosby, home of Marine FC. Their pitch is one of the best in the North West and we hope it will match our ethos of 'playing football the right way'.

I've long been a supporter of the club and witnessed some great games at the bargain price of a fiver.  Hope the move to the new ground is a success and doesn't alienate too many of those who have supported the club from day 0.

I think virtually all of our 'hardcore support' is on board with the move to groundsharing with Marine. It's a better playing surface, and we hope to bring in more new fans, as Crosby is better served by public transport from Liverpool.

It is with great sadness that AFC Liverpool have learned of the sad loss of Billy Williams, the father of Reds’ midfielder Steven and former defender Chris.

All of the players, management, staff, officials and supporters of AFC Liverpool would like to offer Steven, Chris, Daniel and Angela our deepest condolences on your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Billy was a regular at AFC Liverpool’s matches and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
