The officials most definitely are intimidated at OT and it is a ploy that is actively encouraged from the number of seats allocated to away supporters (very few) to the manic reactions of Whiskey Face to any decision against them, more use of technology has got to be the answer and an awareness by the officials that the bas**rds are taking the piss. It would appear obvious that certain referees are more influenced than others by this unsporting behaviour and prone to bad judgement but however it is interpreted they are not doing their job properly and the same measures should be applied as with any occupation - they should be disciplined.
Whether this action takes the form of suspension, sacking or loss of salary doesn't really matter the point is they will be aware that they are not in an ivory tower and their job is not untouchable which should concentrate their senses, but the priority has got to be getting away from the human judgement aspect and depending on technology
