F***ing typical, well done to the west indies, don't particularly like that they come across as a bunch of mercenaries only interested in money but fair play to them.

Joe Root was sensational, taking out Gayle so early, I really thought it was all over at one point.

      What an unreal last over

4 perfect deliveries, in terms of the batsman being able to hit sixes, shocking bowling, surely the way to go is to bowl Yorkers or full toss in the final over.

Got the distinct impression that if they had need 36 from that last Stokes over they probably would have got them!!

Stokes will never get over that.

Incredible win for the Windies and as others have mentioned Stokes completely lost it at the end. Pitching it up to a big hitter like Brathwaite.............. ....Madness

That was very poor bowling from Stokes in the last over. England have been very good with yorkers in the final overs in matches in this tournament, but Stokes completely lost the plot there.

I was 'Root'ing (sorry) for England, but that was some hitting by Brathwaite.

Thrilling final over, it's a shame the Windies never needed 36 from 6 ;D because Brathwaite would have knocked the last 2 over the ropes too :)

Fully deserved victory and I love 20/20 cricket.

I think they were all yorkers gone wrong mate.

Problem is, all their focus is 20/20. The last test side over here was one of the worst international test match series I'd ever seen - I don't think they got close to bowling us out in ANY innings. They got one draw out of the three matches due to most of the match being rained out, the other two we absolutely smashed them. Good on them for getting around rock n roll cricket, but doing so at the expense of test cricket just doesn't seem right to me.

Just watching RCB vs Sunrisers in the IPL, Gayle got out for just a few but AB & Kohli have put on a masterclass! AB has 68 from 35 and Kohli has 68 from 45. I fear for any bowler coming up against this batting line up in the IPL this year :D

Big shame to hear about James Taylor's forced retirement due to a heart issue supposedly similar to Fabrice Muambas.

Glad to hear they caught it before any incident but a big loss to English cricket, was on his way to being a superb player.

That is a brilliant job from England.

Amazing how much more aggressive England cricket looks since Bayliss took charge.

Truly wonderful achievement by Alastair Cook to be the youngest batsman to reach 10,000 test runs. I remember listening to his first test against India 10 years ago on the radio. I remember it being a snow day off from school and hearing it on the radio (it was that or Cash in the Attic!). 10,000 runs later we are here today!

Toby Roland-jones is the first cricketer with a double barrelled surname to get picked for an English test squad, can hardly contain my excitement, losing Anderson is a massive blow though.

Brilliant win for England yesterday. A lot is made of England callapses, but the amount our bowlers cause to happen has to be much higher. Love seeing us rip through teams middle orders.
