Definitely was and its genuinely pathetic at this level.

 India coming out after lunch and oissing about for 10 minutes then declaring after an over. None of it good for the test game, and its only the fans who have paid to watch cricket that suffer.

England need to knuckle down now and save the test. Not only was our cricket before lunch ridiculously poor but it will also have pissed off the Indians who will be well up for this.

Awful for England but a spectacular turnaround for India. They've got that grit and determination that England seem to lack.

Problem for England is Stokes is their match winner and the glue.

Their is a total lack of class in the side with the bat and with Broad, Archer and Wales out in the bowling department too.

No top class spinner, nothing coming through to replace Broad and Anderson and in the batting its poor Root doing it all on his own.

As for Joe you'd feel sorry for him being the lone hand in this side, if it wasn't for his captaincy which is severely lacking.

Took 25/1 on India winning this at change of innings. I know how England are and they will falter if they need to chase anything near 100.

Been a great test match this one. England look better with Hameed and Burns opening Malan at 3 and Woakes in the side.

If we can get Stokes and Archer in at the expense of probably Moeen and Overton thats a good team.

Just need to dig in here though and take the draw again. Without Stokes and Buttler we dont have the fire power to score quickly enough to chase this down without risking losing a lot of wickets.

This series has surely got to be in the end of Moeen in the Test side?

Can't be trusted to tie down an end with his bowling and gives his wicket away when he's batting - what does he offer this side?

Compare it to Jadeja who wasn't at his best but bowled at 1.5 for 30+ overs allowing Kohli to rotate his fast bowlers at will.

Poor that this game was cancelled an hour before the toss when last night it was going ahead.
