Probably fitting the Leach got the final wicket in in it's way a historic win. He bowled 67 overs  taking 3-246. Not great figures but he was unlucky in that he didn't take 2/3 of Jack's 6 in Pakistans Ist innings.

I love to watch the spinners and I'm not a massive fan of Leach. But this man has guts a plenty and he deserved to get a bit of praise there at the end.

What a game, hats off to mccullum and  stokes ,  putting words into action.

280 not bad given the pitch is doing a bit. Not sure Leach and Anderson needed to be reversing sweeping like that when Wood was going well at the other end though, might have left 20-30 runs out there as a result.

Cracking debut for sure. I guess the real test is how he does when he loses that mystery element as batsman study his action. I remember Mendis from Sri Lanka rip it up for a year or two before it all fell away pretty badly for him.

All ten England wickets fall to leg spin. Abrar taking 7 and Mahmood the orther 3. Leg spin always comes with a bit of mystery. Took a few wickets with the googly. Not that many good leg spinners in England. Need a hard wicket that grips and bounces.

If they match England's score, then bowl England out, it would need to be within 200 because getting that batting 4th will be difficult on this pitch, even with England's sometimes limited spin attack.

280 Ist innings wasn't that bad considering the pitch.

Brilliant bowling to get Pakistan out for 202. Solid by Leach. Jacks makes a wild swipe at a googly..out for 4 but a target of over 200 in the 4th innings will be difficult for Pakistan. England 25-2..Root comes in.

Good test of England against leg spin. Could be bowled out cheaply and give Pakistan a big chance. Only day 2 so no need to lay into them. Build a solid lead and that should be enough. Lost 2 wickets cheaply so need to get set again.

Yes and England will set a target of near 400 maybe more so it's looking like 2-0.

3rd Test. Pakistan all out 307. Leach 4 wickets Ahmed 2 on debut. Ahmed bowling leg spin. Dropped quite a few short, have to improve on his length. Big spinning googly caused problems.

Well England have managed to have another classic collapse to lose the opening one dayer against South Africa.

From 146-0 chasing 299, we've managed to be bowled out for 271 and lose by 27 runs. Absolute F***ing madness. The only positives to come from the batting was the opening partnership of 146 and a century from Jason Roy, who has hopefully rediscovered his best form.

Not exactly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory but pretty bad. Had plenty of deliveries in hand but just battered as if they were running out of deliveries. Great knock by Roy...worst shot for me was Duckett. Milan exit was very poor as well.

Harry Brook is a serious player!

Broad said the other day that he's never played with somebody as good as Brook. Considering he's played with Cook and Root, that's high praise on the kid.

4 centuries and 4 50s in just six tests though show that praise is justified.
