Slow but a superb century from Sibley.

I agree, that was a brilliant match of test cricket, what a chase, what a rollercoaster of emotions from being confident the lads could do it to then being 117-5 to Woakes and Butler gradually chipping away at the total all the way to the late scares.

This series could get ugly for Pakistan (weather permitting)

Tom Curran one of those lower order batsman in limited overs cricket that always shakes their head at the end of their innings as if they could do better.

Not too sure he actually can.

Bairstow playing like it's a 5 day test match

      21 off 52

This games over. Aussies all over it

F***ing hell Jonny, I think you need instructions about where the middle of your bat is

Thought it was all over bar the shouting but Archer and Woakes didn't read the script. I would've gone with Woakes as MOTM..26 and 3-32..dismissed both Aussie top scorers.Could be it's Archer's pace unsettles them tho.

I agree, but its more a case of the Aussies throwing it away again, like the first T20 game.

      Great match of cricket.

Australia deserved the series I think, England didn't quite hit the standards of recent years (probably understandable given their hectic schedule).

That's not pretty from Morgan at the end there. Seen Lancashire and Dane Villas try and do that  on this ground last over to the spinner and get their fingers burnt in a 20/20 semi finals day.

1 to cross off the playbook I'm afraid that. A bit of nonsense when you've got Mark Wood bowling 92mph.

Good innings from the 2 Aussies but they looked set to bottle that again until the ball went to the leggy who was going at 8s all game with short boundaries to protect.

Trying to be too clever I think with 2 tailenders swinging like a rusty gate, it doesnt take much to hit a 6 here 1 side.

Disappointed to end the international summer on that note but well done to England,  Ireland,  Australia,  west indies and Pakistan for a great summer. Now for the blast and Somerset in the Bob Willis trophy.
