In all honesty mate I haven't been watching a lot of this World Cup for a few reasons - though I am watching us struggle against Sri Lanka right now.

It's beginning to look like this era of England's white-ball team has come to a crashing end and we're going to need another refocus if we want to be serious contenders for the 2027 World Cup in South Africa.

England might still win this as Sri Lanka have been poor this tournament but it's not boding well for games against India, Australia and Pakistan to come.

Caught between the 100, 20/20 and the 50 over version. In 50 over you have time to build an innings. Can't go bash bash bash against India. Today just threw wickets away. Very poor, just about deserve a seat on the plane home.

Another dead/alive performance by Butler's England. All out for a pathetic 129 chasing a modest 230. Stokes out for 0 just lazily wafted at the ball. Looked as if he couldn't careless.

Must go down as the worst England white ball showings ever. Butler must consider his position.
