 Any one watching this on channel 4 now about a girl who was attacked by someone who threw sulphuric acid into her face leaving her badly scared, blind in one eye and has to be fed via a tube as her throat was badly burnt. She is also physiologically scarred and afraid but also has a very warm nature. What kind of pepole do things like this. The crime is so cold and calculating, thankfully Katie has such a warm nature. Turns out it was her boyfriend....

Very moving.

Someone just posted about this on Facebook which brought it to my attention.

I don't particuarly want to watch the programme to be honest - I just looked at some pictures though.

I don't get this world sometimes and the people on it. It doesn't make sense.

That was one of the most moving things I've watched in a long time.

Just shows how cruel some people in this world are but also how in one split second everything in your life can permanently change.

I watched it and it was very moving.

This beautiful woman had her life ahead of her and she was enjoying it, until that attack which completely changed her life.

Credit to her for continuing to fight for justice and being so brave about it all.

Complete cowards those two men that did it.

To see her image before the attack is a sobering sight and you think she has to look in the mirror everyday and see what those F***ing maniacs have done to her. I apologise to any maniacs who take offence at the comparison.
