I know what you mean Smiggs. Federer's done brilliant to get it back in the balance. But everyone knew he could do it.

Nadal has put his heart and soul into todays final. It would be a great shame if he was to end up second best.

Federer has won a lot of his points with aces, Rafa has played the best tennis, his forehand shots down the line have been briliant, he'll be so upset if he doesn't win this, he thoroughly deserves it.   

This is going to go on all night.

Well done to the great Rafael Nadal! always a joy to watch and how the hell Fed returned some of them forehands god only knows! It was funny seeing him climb up to see his family and the royal box as well that must be a first!  Class match that could not have happened to a nicer guy he fought with every bit of energy he could muster and finally has his dream of becoming Wimbledon Champion.

Yes it was Gwen Stefani, I had to be content with listening to this match on Radio 5 on the way back from Devon, and they mentioned that she was there.


I would loved to have seen this match, but it was very exciting on the radio, and you have to use your imagination much more when you can't see whats going on.

Well Done to Nadal, sounds like he deserved to win a thrilling final, but all credit to Federer as well for putting up a good comeback.

Its pretty clear that them 2 are head and shoulders above everyone else and hopefully next year they will produce another amazing final if they get their (which they probably will)

I watched the final and it is good to see that someone is actually beating Federer at Wimbledon because he was going for his 6th win in a row.

And i like the fact that Nadal was the person the beat him because he is the first person in 28 years or something like that to win the French Open and WImbledon in the same year.

Lets hope he can win the US Open as well. That would be an incredible feat.

Rafa did deserve to win, and i am so glad he won. But a big well done to both players for playing really well and providing great entertainment. Unlucky that someone had to lose.

What a match, best 8 hours of my life. The arrogance of Federer has been halted!

Words cant explain how happy i was, was as if i won the match me self The greatest match of all time, stoked i stayed up to watch it. Coverage started at 10.30pm here and finished at 6.30 am. What a final, wont be able to match that, ever!

What a game that was! Greatest tennis match I've ever seen! Fed did so well to get back into it, played some brilliant shots, as did Nadal, I wasn't to fussed who won the game, but it has to be said that Rafa was the one who deserved it, he has improved so much on grass this year.

God I wish I was Spanish!!
