      Simona Halep's to lose surely.

      She’s gone too now!

Just seen that when I got home.

Only 1 of the top 10 seeds left now.

Well, Nadal doesn’t usually make it this far at Wimbledon.

      Was cruising at one point.

Nadal vs Del Potro, Nadal tore him apart at the French Open recently and already looking strong again in the early stages.

Murray could have won this year had he not been injured.

Argghh! Roger is out! So disappointed!

But Del Potto v Nadal? Now that is a match and a half. Enough power in this match to create a black hole on Centre Court! Come on Del Potro!

He's recently declared bankrupt ironically but didn't know about him donating to Hillsborough.
Good man Boris, always liked the cut of his jib.

I'm really enjoying it as well. Smart and instinctively knows these players better than anyone on Centre Court at the moment.

Andy's gold medal match against Del Potro at the Rio Olympics was probably, outside of the 2008 Wimbledon final, my most favourite match I've ever seen. Such an emotionally charged and physically draining occasion between the two players supported by a raucous Brazilian crowd. Such a beautiful match.

The football was good tonight but in hindsight, I'm disappointed I didn't watch Nadal v DP all the way till the end even if the big Argentine went out. Simona Halep on twitter as well saying what a great match it was. Will have to catch the highlights. Should have been the final!!! And with the other fact of there being no much wanted Federer v Nadal rematch at Wimbledon it's a sad day!

Raging I missed it as well.

I've missed too much Wimbledon this year for my liking.

Me too though through no choice of my own. Probably the least I've watched of Wimbledon in years and years which is a shame as I love the event.

Yep, same for me because of the World cup :(

And I am disappointed we won't see both Djokovic and Nadal in the final :( The winner of that match surely will go on and win the final?

You'd think so. John Isner and Kevin Anderson in the other semi final - hardly groundbreaking. Christ, I remember James Ward beating Isner three years ago in the Davis Cup in Glasgow - without that serve of his he is not much so clearly there's been a lack of quality on that side of the draw. Anderson? Fair play - he beat the greatest of them all so he deserves his chance.

But to be honest, I don't think the competition of the men's game has been great for a couple of years. Murray's been injured for most of that period and Djokovic, Nadal and Federer all now seem very selective as to how they plan their season, usually arounf their favoured playing service. Murray will do the same when he fully returns - I wouldn't be surprised if he stops playing clay court tennis. When looking at the future, the likes of Thiem (ok he retired in the first round), Zverev and Kyrgios have threatened to break through but have so far yet to deliver on their full potential so I sometimes wonder what the future will look like beyond the heavy weight names of Federer and co.

The women's game, by contrast, has been a lot more interesting to watch in the last couple of years.

Anderson with a 26-24 final set win.

Nadal not looking like he will be getting the better of  Djokovic. Djokovic about the take the first set.

Yeah, Djokovic looks great so far!!!

Nadal broke serve quite comfortably in the this 2nd set and I thought he'd go on to take this set but Novak broke serve straight after. Nadal almost seems a bit predictable in this match, he's not mixing it up really and making too many unforced errors.
