      Carling Cup Final
      Feb 24, 2008 10:45:44 am
Hopefully Spurs will win, i have a good feeling that they will as well, but their defence is a bit shaky so the only way their gonna win is by outscoring Chelsea, and with the attack they have they are capable of doing just that. It's gonna be a high scoring game i think, and with this mini-Ramos revival they are gonna do them!

Also be interesting to see how Avram Grant handles the big games, he hasn't really impressed me, when it comes to the big games it doesn't look like he's good enough, and it the rumours that he is going to leave Lumplard and Terry out are true then they are fu**ed.

      COME ON SPURS!!!

I was reading the Sunday Mirror and they reckon Grant will bag a 500K bonus if the Chavs they win, whereas Ramos will only get 250K.  I doubt Spurs will have a tight defence as they got Robinson in goal today!

I don't think I'll watch it. To be honest I'm not as massive football fan that'll watch any football game on tv.. but I am a massive Liverpool fan and I always keep track of other results.. just that watching them doesn't interest me in the slightest unless its Liverpool or if its a class game like a Champions League game.

I find Premiership football rather boring, I prefare to watch Champions League football which is by far the best out there!

Yeah, not all that bothered about it myself to be honest. I'm watching Roma v Fiorentina.

Suppose it would be better than watching Eastenders or some other boring Sunday afternoon programme though.

Bad losers those Chavs. See that fella telling Cech not to shake the refs hand after the whistle? Thought Spurs were going to throw it away near the end.

To be fair kenny, Ten Cate (I think that's how you spell it) thought Cech and the other Chelsea players were complaining at the referee, and he wanted them to get away.

Still, was very funny and I enjoyed watching that. Well done Spurs.

John Terry's the biggest culprit of shouting and abusing the ref. Everybody goes on about all the foreigners diving and cheating when that's equally as bad. Terry, Drogba, Carvalho, Lampard and Makele are the biggest twines in the game and they p**s me right off. :f_steam:

Well done Spurs! first cups for a while.  I did feel they played their little hearts out today and the kind of spirit they had in going forward and stamping out most of Chelsea's advances reminded me of how we have played in some big games.  A big praise has to go to Paul Robinson who performed beyond expectations.

Yeah AJ, from what I seen of the game Paul Robinson looked like he done himself no harm for keeping his place in the team.

How jammy was Woodgates winner though! Cech basically deflected it onto his head and the ball was in the net. He actually missed going for the original header.
