yep, i would hate it if we bought villa next season and used him as a winger, would p*** me off more than anything.
I love our formation but i think we only dont use a 4-4-2 because the current formation suits our current strikers better than a 4-4-2 does.
With a top quality left winger and another WC striker i would scrap that formation as our main one and have it as a second/ alternative one.
I am not a believer in using players out of position as peopl probably already know, it doesnt give them a chance to show what they can really do and can cause them to look a bad player when they actually arent. In some instances it works and when it does its great but when it doesnt its dreadful.
