Can just imagine how smooth our back four would be if he wasn't made of glass I love Enrique but lately he's been woeful, hope it's just a minor dip in form but Fabio's touch of class has been missed and would complete the quartet at the back.

Yeah Enrique has done well over all but Aurelio had a little more technical class when he was playing well. Pity the lad is made of glass. I won't forget the beauty at Old Trafford though. And if he was fit until the end of the season I'd still use him for a few games.

Such a pity.

He could have achieved alot more with the club. Quality player on his day but so unlucky with injuries.

Kenny has confirmed he will definitely leave.

Such a shame about his injuries, not only did he miss so many games for us but it cost him an international call up too. Thanks for some cracking goals (Mancs and Chavs immediately come to mind) and some all round class when you were on the field. Good luck for the future.

Last game he played he looked sharp, but it seems it was a mistake to give him another go.

Always had huge respect and lots of time for Fabio, such a crying shame his career has been blighted with injuries, when he has played he's been fantastic for us, so I'd love to wish him all the very best.

The four goals (Bolton, Portsmouth, Man United and Chelsea) he has scored for us ... all were amazing.

Won't forget them unless I miscounted.

Simply echo all the positive messages above, great guy and great player whose career has been absolutely destroyed with injuries which is a true shame because I truly believe he could of been world class!

We visited Melwood last Easter. He was the only player to stop and actually get out the car to talk to the kids. My youngest has got a top picture with him and is gutted he's off.

I honestly don't think it has to do with the English game, we was never injured by other players, he is just that fragile.

A world class player on his day for me, and a top bloke too. I'm hope all the best to him and his family!

Which begs the question: How injured is he? It's been mysterious. He's been like a ghost this season. If he is too banged up to play, will anyone even sign him? Perhaps his career is over? I'd hate that, for his sake. For selfish reasons I'd like to see him here in MLS if he can stay healthy enough.

Thank you for everything Fab He was a top left back before he joined us, shame injuries have hampered his LFC career. I think he would have been quite effective on the Left Wing position this season. Having said that I dont remember too many bad games at left back. He kept the likes of Ronaldo in his pocket.

Fabio Aurelio, classy but glassy. He's one of those players where you can't help but think "What if it weren't for the injuries." When he was 100% fit, he was capable of being one of top 10 LBs in the world. Sweet left foot. Although he hasn't played much at all this season, I'm going to miss him. Had a great attitude. Thanks Fabio!

He had one hell of a left foot.

Wished he played more games for us because he was class on his day and hardly put a foot wrong when called upon.

Nice video, very moving. I honestly feel bad for how good he was and how bad injuries wrecked his carreer. Still, it's not like he didn't play for LFC after all, so I'm sure he had a good time anyway. See you soon Fabio!

Yeah I was coming to say that. Not sure if it's 100% official but it's been on Brazilian press. Gremio is Lucas' former club. Good luck to him, as good a player as he is unlucky with injuries (that is, very good!)
