Great player and a great person. But yeah, Stevie G is better. I wonder if they would play well if together in a team.

      UNITED LINKED WITH KAKA BID

      Sunday 19 Apr 2009

Manchester United will sign Kaka in the summer if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves for Real Madrid, according to reports.

The Portuguese winger is still strongly linked with a move to the Bernabeu, despite repeated claims that he is happy at Old Trafford.

If the move comes into fruition, the News of the World report that Ferguson will use some of the money generated from the sale to buy Kaka.

United's rivals Manchester City attempted to sign him in January, but the Brazilian decided to stay in Italy as City's on-field ambitions did not match his own.

However, United would represent a much more tempting offer, and he seems to be growing frustrated with Milan after saying this week that they need 're-energising'.

Meanwhile, it is also thought Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery would be brought in.

Barcelona are also interested in the France international, but the extra money earned from Ronaldo's possible sale might tip the balance in United's favour.

So the press conference and all his pledge to a continued Man U stay was a sham?

      Calderon a Dinosaur

      FERGIE: CALDERON A DINOSAUR

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has blasted ex-Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon as a 'dinosaur' over his continuing talk about Cristiano Ronaldo.

Calderon said earlier in the week that Real had already agreed a deal for one of the leading players in the world to join the club in the summer, but Ferguson remains adamant that Ronaldo is going nowhere.

He told the Sunday Express: "All the talk about Cristiano was coming from Calderon. He is a dinosaur. He has been buried.

"He is just trying to cause trouble isn't he? He is just trying to cause trouble for the new president. It's him saying, 'it's up to you to deliver now'.

"You are never going to stop this game. It's going to go on and on, but we're happy with our end of things with Cristiano.

"It's certainly not the agent causing problems. He definitely wants Cristiano to stay here."

Meanwhile, United have been linked with a move for Huracan's teenage midfielder Javier Pastores.

The 19-year-old's agent, Marcelo Simonian, claimed: "We have received a ten million euros offer from Manchester United.

"But the player is not interested in money, as he wants to be transferred to a team where he can play regularly and where he can grow. We want the right team and the right project."

The only way I can see that happening is if Kaka goes as part of a swap deal, with about 25 million.

      Otherwise...

Ok so Man City have a 200million+ package turned down by Kaka AND Milan yet he's supposed to go to the Scum for a mere £25 million?

That's the funniest thing i've heard in ages.

P.s Franck Ribery if you're listening, COME TO US NOT THE SCUM.
