      ALONSO BACK VERSUS READING

New dad Xabi Alonso is back for this afternoon's clash with Reading as Rafa Benitez makes two changes from the side that triumphed in the San Siro.
Alvaro Arbeloa replaces Sami Hyypia in the only other change.

The Liverpool team in full is:

Reina, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Skrtel, Carragher, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Babel, Kuyt, Torres:
Subs: Itandje, Riise, Hyypia, Crouch, Benayoun.

Good strong line up... I think I'll go for a 4-0

      3 - 0 for me.

They deserve a good bending over, Reading do.

Good decent side. Only Hyypia and Lucas 'rested'.

      Should batter these lot today.

I can't stand Reading, I think they like to bully teams off the ball.

I'm going for just a 2 - 0 scoreline to us. Dirk Kuyt to get the two, Torres will be rather dried up today. Just remember even the best of players have a bad game now and then and I can sense one from El Nino today.

      Liverpool 2 - 0 Reading
      Kuyt x2

Are you trying to jinx us?!
I would have left Torres out today myself and put Babel up top, other than that, I'm happy with the team, should be able to get the job done.

Think the Reds will get their 100th goal of the season in this game, 4-0 to the Reds. Don't care who scores as long as we do!

Torres gets 7 in 3, the sign to drop him to bench? I think not! Another 4 will do me for Nando.

Definitley, playing against Arsenal 3 times in 12 days will require a lot of energy, a lot more than usuall.

Still the 16th of March, play them the weekend of the 22nd - 23rd. I say give the key guys some rest from training during the week to keep them fresh to play as much as possible.

He's a young lad.  He has been playing for our last god knows how many games and is getting better and better and better.

If he was a 30 year old striker then maybe, but he isn't.

What about Gerrard then? He must have played nearly every game this season.  Is he looking tired?
