He is overweight and seems to lack the passion now for Real Madrid. But wasn't Robbie overweight before he came back to us :?: If anyone could get him back into shape it is RAFA and his backroom staff I personally wouldn't mind if we could get him for nothing. When he does put the effort in he still does look world class.

Even if rafa could bring the best out of him wouldn't he be just another stop gap, don't think he's got that long left in him so shouldn't we look for a young up and coming striker torres fits the bill i think.

Ronaldo's still scoring goals though, imagine the goal's he could get with the through ball's from gerrard.According to the Brazilian coach Parreira," he only need's to get match fit,his weight is perfect". Having said all that, still wouldn't be sure if we should sign him. :?

      I recently saw Ronaldo play.

I dont think that the Real fans like him at all, they were all giving him sh*t for being fat, lazy, overpaid, greedy not a true Real player. i mean they really gave him both barrels.

But for a player who is meant to be fat and lazy to be able to influence a game whilst also being heavily marked shows the guys class.

But would I want him at anfield? Probably not. I think that if we were really in a commanding position in the league ( ie had won it and were expecting to win it again, or consistantly beating the likes of chelsea, arsenal or the scum) then he might be worth the chance. But considering how much work we have to do and how hard we work on the pitch to get our results, i dont think he'll fit (especially if he's prone to being lazy!). Even if he took a massive wage cut could we really afford him considering the the way things are meant to be with money at the minute.

As for being fat, i dont know, he's a big strong boy.  And class is class, when i saw him play i saw just how good he was, that was him being lazy too!

Jan Molby wasnt know for being slim either.

Ok, so Ronaldo isn't as lean as he used to be... but are you forgetting that neither is Fowler, would you say he was past it? No. Just because weight is an issue doesn't mean they've lost their touch.

You lot are talking about Ronaldo like he's ready for the knackers yard but if we have to play Brazil, I'm putting money on you'll all be fearing him.

Fat doesn't mean he's lost his touch, he's a natural finisher - just like Fowler. Ok, so some of his World Cup goals so far have been tap-in's but did you see that strike for his second goal against Japan? The guy is still a threat. Would you be complaining if Rafa was to buy him?

Wouldn't sign Ronaldo cos he's only got a season or two left, plus the Crimbo nights out to restaurants would cripple us financially. (Two starters, four main courses, an a triple chocolate gateaux, FOR STARTERS)  :P
