Amuses me highly that we have more 'LFC interest' in the Spain game than the England game.

Torres nearly scored a great goals dribbled past 2 players and just got stopped by the last man.

And almost set up a goal for Silva aswell but silva put it wide.

You know what? I didn't think Arbeloa actually played - didn't see him come on ... or see him play at all - but as the players came off the pitch a bloke that REALLY looked like Alvaro got massive bear hugs from both Pepe and Xabi... had to be him...

Xabi looked very solid in a holding midfield role... wasn't troubled at all by the Italians.

According to Eurosport Arbeloa did come on the pitch take part.

Arbeloa was on the pitch for 17 mins... blimey didn't see him at all... had a very quiet 17 mins... to be honest Spain was pressing for a 2nd for the last 20 minutes with the ball mostly up the other end of the park.
