      i just saw a poster in town yesterday to pre order fifa 09.  i have to say i had to laugh when i saw the cover for the fifa 09 box.  ronaldinho in his ac milan gear, and the one, the only.................... ....................big richard dunne in his ireland kit.  a match made in heaven!

      i went from armagh to melbourne oz (5 years) then met a girl from cork ;) 

      that will be a plus for living in cork then, wont have to look at shreks ugly head when i get fifa 09!!

      FIFA 09 demo out on PS3 and XBox 360 today.

      PC demo out tomorrow.

      ive been playing Fifa 09 today, long shots are better but they've made it harder to keep possesion I think. I imagine once you are used to it it will be fine but it seems quite difficult at the minute.

      Things that I have noticed that are different:

      Ball swerve - is now ridiculous, it swerves so much really late on
      Long shots - much improved
      Headers - again improved you have to time your leaps for the ball and you can actually contest against other players
      Dribbling - seems harder might just be because defenses are better
      First touch actions - much better on 08 you try to volley the ball and 9 out of 10 times you sky it, seems to be better controlled on this one

      Overall I can see it being an improvement, im really looking forward to it though!

      I can't seem to get the PC download working off their website and the PS store hasn't been updated yet.

      Was playing this all day today, i love it. Cant wait for oct 3rd so i can play as liverpool.

      Hopefully pacheco is on it so i can use him in be a pro seasons.

      I've just had a horrible thought.

      Real Madrid have licensed the Bernabeu to PRO, and consequently on FIFA 08 the Bernabeu wasn't present.

      You think that might be the case now Liverpool have licensed to PRO too, or you think it might be a bit more of a lenient deal. Saying that, the Bernabeu isn't on the demo so I hope I'm wrong.

      Very impressed with it to be honest.

      A big improvement on last year's FIFA which was pretty decent.  I think it is going to be the winner again in the FIFA v Pro Evo battle.
