That’s a f***in shocker isn’t it, didn’t see that coming, in particular this early, why let him spend all that money then sack him ?? 😂 😂 😂 😂

Rumblings of Potter heading there, but could it be Poch ?

      Zidane anyone ?

Pretty sure no matter who it is will start with a P Bob... Sorry i mean Billy  :lmao:

I don’t get the shock from some people.

They’ve had poor results for well over a year now. His champions league win and the focus on Roman and the Ukraine war saved his job.

The only strange thing is letting him spend 200million this summer and bringing the likes of Auba in who he has previously worked with to then sack him.

But it’s not like klopp who inherited joe allen and moreno, anyone who manages chelsea instantly inherit a group of world class players and they have to challenge for the title year in, year out, and that tuchel side is nowhere near.

Tuchel lasted about 20 months, must be almost a record for a Chelsea manager, in the last few years !

      Not surprised.

He's made a living out of clubs and legacies built by Klopp at both Dortmund and Mainz. When that wasn't good enough he chased the big billions. Made a pigs ear of PSG and got massively lucky in 2021 when Pep decided to take leave of his senses in the Champions League final.

A free loading charlatan. And a neurotic, insecure one at that.

Graham Potter would be the smart choice, if you were a club looking to invest in the long-term. He is not a typical Chelsea pick though -- Zidane or Poch would be more suited. Sack them after a year or two, three if they're lucky, spend a tonne of money and start again.

Tuchel is lucky Roman isn't in charge anymore, he'd have lost his job by now with the start they've made and the money they've spent.

Some hand shake for Brighton. Not sure if it’s 20 or 30 Million they get off the Chavs for Potter.

Maybe a lot of money but they will be losing a great manager, and will struggle to perform on the level they are at now

I tend to agree. Potter pressing all the right buttons at Brighton. Not sure if the Chav job has come too soon but he does deserve a chance with the so called big six at some stage, obviously Christmas come early for the lad.

Just hope he has not bitten of more than he can chew by joining the chavs. Potter looks to have a very promising carrer ahead of him .

A damn good manager isn't he? Perhaps the most gifted British manager since Sir Alex. I'd certainly have had him as a replacement for Jürgen here!

Probably know the same as you whereas he’s done a fantastic job at Brighton and deserves his chance.

Some rumours flying around that Chelsea's new owner wanted to sign Ronaldo this summer and Tuchel vetoed the move, leading to some tensions between them.
If that's true, it seems Boehly could be even worse than Roman. It could be funny to watch in the future.

Perhaps it's also why they're going after someone like Potter. Sure, he's a very good and promising manager, but he's also someone that might not dare going against the boss.

There been some mud slinging from the new owner to the media after the firing. Don't understand the point about trying to make yourself the good guy in the relationship to everyone but so be it.

As for Potter good manager who plays a good brand of football, his rise through the ranks should be something other British managers should look at (going off the continent to get your feet wet). That being said his team blow hot and cold, I worry with Chelsea is they won't stand for it if the team goes on a bit of a poor run considering how trigger happy they are with canning managers.

I've just read that ...Total and absolute nonsense which shows Boehly's inability to grasp the fundamental reasons which are the very foundations, the bedrock of Club football, at all levels in this country...and for that matter most other countries.

Here's another we might expect from him: Hey guys instead of all that running around, potentially injuring our assets....let's just  have guys take penalty kicks, with a music track for each pen.....Plantpot!
