I'd be tempted to take that Joe Cole off their hands - even if I do hate his guts.

But then I remember that website he used to have  (now taken down)

      And common sense prevails..

does anyone no that if abromavich leaves chelsea, and maybe they pay in monthly installments for some players, is it abromavich or chelsea who ow that money, cos if its chelsea and they have no owner, what can happen I can only image the smile I would have on my face if it did.

I think it depends on how much abramovich owns....im not sure what the rulling is in the UK, but in Australia if an someone owns 49% or more of a business/franchise, they are fully liable....but in this case, i guess chelsea will have to find a new owner, or depending on what was stated in his contract...

I remember reading somewhere that Abramovich isn't actually spending his money at Chelsea, he's loaning it to the company that owns the club (of which he is a director). I'm no expert on the legalities, but I'm pretty sure this means that he can pull out & the club will still owe him the money they've spent. Either way Chelsea are gonna be fu**ed the day he goes.

      Drogba 'wants to leave Chelsea'

Didier Drogba is unhappy at Chelsea and wants to leave the club, according to France Football magazine.
In an interview due to be published on Friday, the Ivory Coast star, 29, says morale at Stamford Bridge has plummeted since former boss Jose Mourinho left.

"I want to leave Chelsea. Something is broken with Chelsea," Drogba said.

"The damage has been big in the dressing room because we know who caused Mourinho's departure. Nothing can stop me from leaving now."

France Football is a well-established magazine in France that awards the Ballon d'Or for the European Footballer of the Year.

Drogba joined Chelsea from Marseille for £24m in July 2004 and has been the subject of regular speculation since then despite a prolific record with the Blues.

He signed a new four-year deal in November 2006 but told the BBC the following month that he had considered leaving the previous summer in the wake of Chelsea's second successive league title.

In the interview Drogba is quoted as saying he wanted an even earlier exit and will not change his mind even if the club make high-profile signings next summer.

Drogba says Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan or Inter Milan would be his preferred destination.

"Since the day I arrived, I wanted to leave Chelsea and then again every summer," he says.

"I know that Ronaldinho and Kaka are linked to come next season but even that won't change my mind."

Chelsea have yet to make any comment on the situation.

Well who would have thought? Their best striker wants to jump ship! This season gets better and better for the chavs doesn't it.

I wont miss his cheating attitude if he goes but there's been times when I've admired his ability.

First of many indeed!! But I think he's been instrumental in their recent success. I reckon he's been involved in a good few one nil wins for them in the league?....

      A few Chelsea jokes.

Q: What do you call a Chelsea fan on the moon?
      A: A Problem.

Q: What do you call 100 Chelsea fans on the moon?
      A: An even bigger problem.

Q: What do you call all the Chelsea fans on the moon?
      A: Problem solved

      Q. Why do Chelsea fans whistle whilst sitting on the toilet?
      A. So they know which end to wipe!

      Chelsea 1 - Rosenborg 1

I got my voice back a couple of days later.. But what gives me the most pleasure now when i think back to that game, is that MY team, little Rosenborg from little Trondheim, actually were the reason Mourinho left!! Indirectly, and I guess the last drop in the already pretty full mug.....but still :D
Ive hated that clown since the day he came, and more more and more each time he opened his big whining mouth. I'll miss that. It was great fun to hate him! And now I wont see him get humiliated at Lerkendal november 28.... ;D

All those teams have tasted more success than them.

Anyways, Drogba and Anelka getting old. Essien and Lampard haven't been the same player. Terry and Cech been below par.

I'd be worried if I was a Chelsea fan.
