Decent first half. 

I think the game is pretty evenly matched, not just in the scoreline.

We started brightly but Arsenal took control and their goal was coming.  We then hit back thanks to some fantastic skill from Gerrard and then had a great bit of possession when we could have maybe added to our lead.

Arsenal had a little spell towards the end of the half when we kept giving them corners and throw-ins.

Looking forward to the second half.

Good Analysis JD, if we keep it tight at the back and Alonso an Masch just play their game then we can catch them on the counter. Come on Liverpool, lets show the world how footballs played!

I just want to take it to Arsenal, and give Torres support, like how about bringing on Crouch !

I think a draw would be a decent result here. And then we play at Anfield, the crowd will play a crucial part and we will win and go through to the next stage.

Agreed, if Crouch plays he need to play in a different formation, he simply wouldn't fit into this one. Although I would still like him to come on later on in the game. He's a fantastic striker.

Game on gentlemen roll on tuesday ,did anyone see big fat TOM in the box oh for a sniper (only joking). We used our get out of jail and used it to good effect.

WOW whar a tense second half havent been so nervous in a while. Must say we were lucky on a couple of occasions Kuyts pull on hleb could have been a penalty and Bendtner stopped the ball from going in but i am glad we held out.

What does eveyone think of the result? bringing a 1-1 back to anfield a good result?

I am not sure myself i think it is good but i am so confused by the away goal rule i dont know what to think.
