DIdnt he play well against Arsenal at the Emirates last year and then dissappeared. Another one with "potential" but what ever happens to these lads.

If he can pull those sorts of tricks off the pitch then cant wait to see what he will do on the pitch, should be nick named the Magician

Will be interesting to see if he plays tonight - not made the step up in quite a while now after getting a few first team games under his belt.

Have to say Plessis is one player i'd love to see the back off, he goes about his business on the pitch like he's out for a stroll in the park and it just annoys the F**k out of me. Granted the lad showed early promise but can any one actually say he's progressed from there ? If anything i'd say he's gone back overs, I will say this now now and you can all quote me on it at a later date if I'm wrong but he will never make it as a Liverpool player.

Was thinking the same thing on evidence of tonight.  Really lazy and lethergic and IMO was a big reason for Arsenal coasting through our defence at times.  Could learn alot from Mascherano or Lucas by not giving up when a player goes past him!!

It seems to me he believed he'd made it after that game and from his performances of what i've seen of him since i'd say he's still got that mind set now even though he has spent the majority of the time in the wilderness of the reserves. He's no Liverpool player I know that much.

Glad Im not the only one who thought he was sh*te. His touch and ball control reminds me of Djimi Traore.

I say better. I never liked him, but I think he did ok today.

Just that, if you are a youngster who does not have the best technique or the most experience, at least run your butt off to show you care. The mentality and fighting spirit do show up in your game. That's why for Spearing, I buy; Plessis, I don't buy.

Not enough urgency in his play, always looking for the easy pass backwards and never tracked his men or worked in shutting down. Not impressed.

I don't get him either at the minute.

It seems that all he's got to his game is simple passes.

What he's doing for the team now - you could probably stick someone like Agger at centre mid and he'd do the same job but better.

Has a bit of an 'attitude' in my opinion. "I'm a Liverpool player now so I don't really have to try any more", well I have news for you sunshine, you bloody well do.

Haven't heard very much about him recently, to me, he's a bit of a nothing type of player, doesn't really do anything for me I'm afraid.

I think if he was going to break through into the first team proper he would have done it by now. Still only 21 years old, so has time on his side, but he really needs to step it up if he wants to be noticed.
