Certainly is, but unfortunately we didn’t go top until week 2, after the first round of games we were in 3rd behind the two Manc teams.

Sadio Mane now has as many Premier League goals for Liverpool as Fernando Torres managed. (65)

And has surpassed a total number of Liverpool goals that Luis Suarez managed. 82 for Luis, 83 for Sadio (and Albert Stubbins)

Oooh. Stats tend to make my eyes gloss over, but that one kind of stands out. Torres and Suarez.....

Things from when we were younger always seem a little better, but numbers don't lie.

      Well in Sadio.

So he’ll equal that against Fulham, and surpass it against spuds. Simples 🤷‍♂️

Bobby's second today takes him past Luis Suarez to become our all time leading South American goalscorer.

Mo's second today took him level with the legendary Jack Balmer on 110 Liverpool goals as well as being the 600th we've scored under Jürgen.

In Curtis Jones and Ozan Kabak (both 20), Liverpool named two players under the age of 21 in their starting XI for an Champions League knockout stage game for the second time, also doing so v Juventus in April 2005 (Scott Carson and Anthony le Tallec).

For the first time in LFC history, the reds will have won more league points away than at Anfield in a season.  36 points away and a potential maximum of 33 at home.

Also, the Premier League this season, will be the first time any English league had more away wins than home wins.  150-137 so far and only 10 games left.
